    for me it will always be Craig Ferguson, but the Host all the other hosts look up to atm is Graham Norton, american actors love being on his program, they look forward to it, and hey he gives them free booze...Conan doesen't do that

    I think this is the earliest example of it I've seen. I don't remember him doing it on air in recent years but there was a Facebook live stream a couple of years ago where it can be heard as he's bobbing around in the dead sea.

    It's not the same thing. Rons was talcum powder mixed with a colored liquid. It didn't work well and created a mess on the hair. Basically it just painted the scalp and ron would comb over the long hair to cover it on top. Today's fibers are made of Keratin and cling to each individual hair to thicken them. Far superior. I give Ron kudos for getting his to market first. But there is reason it was discontinued.

    Ron Popeil was such a great guy, he loved showing off his products more than anything..he seemed to be having so much fun at work. Also, Conan seems to be a little bit of a jerk sometimes doesn't he?

    Ron just passed away at age 86. Seemed like a nice guy who proved there really is a sucker born every minute. Not an outright charlatan though, at least people had fun with their Pocket Fishermen and Mr. Microphones before they ended up in the junk drawer or garage sales.
