It really is odd. It's like they were going for a "talking to your friends", off-the-cuff style of talking with one another and about the product. Seems like it wrapped straight around into making it odd, with them talking over one another, asking questions that don't get answered, and going on tangents stop halfway through and don't lead anywhere.

I discovered I already had an amazing machine for drying herbs. It was in my laundry room all this time- my ikea folding drying racks. Instead of laying clothes on the racks, I used cooking twine to tie up bundles of herbs and hung them from the rack. It dries reasonably quickly down in my basement, but if I want to dry it in under 4 days, I just set it near my dehumidifier (needed to cool a house economically around here). Works great.

Nancy was fired after the food dehydrator infomercial. You can at the 6:35 mark of this video, when she starts to go into the audience during his speech, Ron gets very pissed off at her. If you look closely, you will see Ron cross his arms, like "how dare you go back to the audience again" while I'm trying to give my sales pitch. The funny thing is the infomercials of the pasta maker and the food dehydrator featuring Nancy Nelson performed very well. Ron shot newer versions, I believe with his daughter, as the side host. (The newer version was the one that gave away the sausage making attachment, which was later edited into this older version with Nancy.) But even after those newer ones were shot and aired a couple of times, they always re-aired the infomercials with Nancy because they performed better sales wise. So if Nancy received residuals every time her shows aired, Nancy got the last laugh after Ron spent money making new infomercials, only to have those new ones fail and having to re-air the shows with her in them! During his presentation of the Dial A Matic food slicer, you can tell he told Nancy to beat it because she's nowhere to be seen. Later on she gets her revenge 27:40, during her solo sales pitch to the cameras when she refers to the slicer as "this $40 item," instead of the actual name of the product, because she was left out of that presentation.

Nancy is like a small baby bird trying to get a next meal. Poor Nancy, Ron just wants her to fly out of the nest already.
@EsmeraldaZenteno10 жыл бұрын
Actually... that little Ronco Dehydrator works great. Just make sure to follow the directions on how to dehydrate certain things and you won't be stressing and bitching about it "not working". Of course, don't expect too much from a machine that costs $40! If you want something that works amazing then get something more expensive top of the line dehydrator. So the question was, does Ronco Dehydrator work? Yes!

So, Dankpods just reviewed the Go Bible Traveler, a digital audio Bible sold a while back. According to the packaging, it was "Narrated By Emmy Award Winner, Stephen Johnston". I looked up Stephen Johnston, and it seems that in addition to narrating the Bible, he also voiced over Ronco commercials. Based on audio I've listened to from his Bible narrations, I can confirm beyond a reasonable doubt that that is Emmy Award Winner Stephen Johnston's voice at 0:23.

"Most of us are familiar with the Ronco Food Dehyrator" lmao
Actually... that little Ronco Dehydrator works great.
