We had so many Ron Popeil products in my house growing up and we used them very often. They were always high quality. We didn't have many channels on TV and I would watch his informercials for enjoyment. May he rest in peace. He was truly a man ahead of his time.

I'm sure many have had a least one of his products in your home. He seemed like a nice guy and is one of the few you don't hear what a jerk he was. Condolences to his family

I had a pocket fisherman when I was a young teen back in the 70's. Just bought a Showtime Rotisserie yesterday. Also, didn't know that Ron invented the original "Slap Chop".

He was great at making his products look like something the average person could use, not annoying like commercials are now. That Pocket Fisherman looked like it would be fun to have and play with whether or not you ever went fishing.

I love the guy.. I would literally watch one of his shows when all I had was network TV in the 80s. 6 channels... To fall asleep I would watch his infomercials.

My mother bought me the smokeless asstray as I smoked many cheap cigars in our home. I used it only once because it removed the aroma I was accustomed to. She was a shellfish woman whom I resent to this day. I can't recall if it were made bt Ronco, Popiel or K-Tel.

You're not going to pay $10million or $5million ... not even $500k like you might all be thinking ... not $250k or $100k or even $1000 ... not $500 or $100 but only 49 easy payments of just $1.99 ... and if you promise to tell a friend ...
