Ron Holland is 6’6.5” w/out shoes and has a 6’11 wingspan. Only 196 pounds rn, room to add weight. He is definitely going to have the size to guard wings

I’ve got my fingers crossed for scheiermann at 39 at Memphis. I don’t think the draft is weak it’s just full of good centers that aren’t coveted now. And the top 3 aren’t wemby,Ja Morant,Zion types so people say it’s weak.

Is Ron Holland a project like Jonathan Kuminga? Great athleticism, great attacking the rim, could be a great defender and needs the work on the 3-poimt shot and basketball IQ?

If the Wiz trade down from 2 (or they get the Grizzlies to trade a first for Kuzma), I could see the Wiz taking him thinking he could be Kawhi 2.0.

@@rayh3391 almost 24 on draft night. In this draft, it's plausible that he goes in the first round. For example, he outplayed Knecht (only 6 months older than Knecht or so and Knecht is projected higher) who seems to be a lock in the first. What's your beef with Scheierman? If it's a first round grade because of Kennard (he's not on every team) than there's something missing. And he's different than Kennard. Shoots almost as well as Kennard, has at least as good of a handle and rebounds definitely better. Probably passes better too.

He didn’t complete his pre draft athletic testing yet due to an ankle injury but he will do it today to become draft eligible that’s why he wasn’t invited yet. That being said he is in danger of dropping out of the top 10 due to his size limitations and fears he could be the worst defender in the league

You’re definitely being influenced by his supposed sliding. Have courage of your convictions. Why are we now questioning Holland’s defense? Did you question Jaylen Brown’s? Holland is same size lmao

Brown had 25+ pounds of muscle on Holland coming into the league . That being said his defense is not concerning to me it’s more so the lack of shooting and bball iq on offense. Regardless he’s one of the only players in this class with a real star ceiling

@@robitaillecopeland1996 Brown is also an outlier story kind of with his skill development. Apparently Holland can’t hit anything in workouts it’s worrisome so much so I probably wouldn’t pick him top 3 but after that it’s more reasonable of a risk and won’t look as bad if he does turn out to just be a solid role player. He has very low bust potential imo because of the athleticism and motor but has a lot of work to do to hit his ceiling

@@bkelly625 I gotta think that a lot of these guys struggling to shoot (Holland, Buzelis, Dunn) will have opportunities to work with good coaches and should improve and if they do their ceilings are higher than everyone else in the draft. Just have to figure out where to take that risk on draft day

The term woke is being constantly misused... smh... stupid - feeding politics into basketball. I wouldn't have given that any attention. Wish you wouldn't. Some things we can just agree to disagree with and move on. In a perfect world, we can go to a sports channel and not have to think of politics. The word woke is now political poison in case you aren't aware of that...
