Is the submariner’s rotatable bezel unidirectional?

I have both the Steel Submariner and Two Tone Rolesor Submariner in my hand and wrist, I knew immediately I had to go for the more expensive Rolesor, it has a kind of ‘Presence’, it feels more substantial on my wrist, not only for the weight of solid 18K gold on the centrelinks and bezel, Rolesor Submariner oozes luxe and class that are not remarkable on a Steel Submariner. Yet is not flashy or ostentatious. Gold with Black is the best combination, it is easy to pair with any color shirt and can be dressy on a more formal occasion. Luxury car manufacturers such as Rolls Royce, Maybach, Bentley, Bugatti have been dressing their cars with two tone color, more so in their exquisite new models.

I just bought this model what are your thoughts on getting a rubber braclet for it to make it sporty and to keep the original braclet from getting scratched?

I bought this one 2 weeks ago, love it so much but boy, I can see what a scratch magnet the polished gold on the clasp is. I once placed it gently ontop of a soft fabric pouch to rest, which material was soft but not as soft as silk or velvet, and I can see a hint of a scratch as a consequence. You can't wear it while typing on a keyboard as it would touch the table/laptop a bit and it would scratch. Basically it'll scratch just looking at it.

I have now a sub date 2020 , having sold my 2019 sub Blusey , i really like the look of both the two tone watches there just a bit to blinggy for me wnen i was out . Great video though thank you .

I’ve seen an all gold Bluesy in person as well as this model recently at my local AD. The blue dial is much more eye-catching.

Most beautiful watch all you need is a Sub

So I love Tim’s reviews, but he doesn’t really talk about wearing it in real life situations. Almost all of the discussion is based around the technical aspects of the watches.

My brother has this watch and I was surprised at how sharp it was. I wasn't expecting to like it compared to my steel Sub at all, but I thought it actually looked classy. I would definitely take it over an all gold version, as it has an opulent feel but still feels like it can stand up to some abuse. Not an everyday sport watch though.

What does a watch like go for a 1970’s version with papers and original box?

I believe the two-tone was rolled out in 1984. The steel submariner, 1953

People can say what they like.. but there are those who have and those who dont... this is the best gents Rolex on the market.. new design is sharp as.. plus Rolex only watch that holds its price or increases in value due to fact rolex can not keep up with the global demand. Beautiful watch. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Beautiful watch! 👑 Took explorer over this, because allso same beautiful but not so obvious, this one just stands out too much while explorer goes under atention. But steel gold sub is fantastic, as is all steel one, just to much atention.

Tool watch? This whole Rolex concept of ‘tool watch’ is a joke. You don’t need to spend this amount of money if you simply need a tool to tell time under water.

Rolex is not a tool watch, it is one of most quality watches, they are robust but not just tools, g shock is tool watch.

I always find it interesting when I see another person that has jumped on the "rolex is not a toolwatch" bandwagon. First of all, Rolex has a very strong tool watch history. These watches were designed and built for pilots, divers, etc. Secondly, it is a fact that today's professional Rolex is built far better than its predecessor. Therefore, Im not sure how one can argue that a Rolex professional model is no longer a tool watch. Has it risen in price exponentially? Yes, it has. Would you be comfortable wearing a $10,000 watch as a tool? Maybe you wouldn't. Are they still used by pilots and divers? Probably not in many cases. However, this does not change the fact that a Rolex professional model is built to take a beating and still perform. This is not the case with the vast majority of luxury timepieces. The price has nothing to do with this fact. So, while you may enjoy beating the hell out of your $40 gshock, I'll stick with my submariner knowing that my grandson will have it on his wrist one day.
