There are two styles of this Rolex jubilee puller. One has the screw down knobs on both sides and the other jist on the end. I spoke with a couple of people who use them and they actually prefer the one witout the inner knob like he's using at 1:50. Would seem that you'd want both lock down knobs when pulling apart but seems like most use them without if it has both.

I have seen this same type of stretch in my grand dad's Seiko it was a cheap one from Florida my uncle bought it for my grandfather i don't maybe 30 years ago we lost that watch he used to wear it all day everyday of the year i don't know why

Great work. Any recommendation on how to replace the clasp rivet on a vintage 70's jubilee? I assume Rolex originally installs a one piece SS rod and mushroom's the ends with a pneumatic riveter but I see there are three piece replacement rivet tube friction pins available from Otto Frei which are easier to install with a hollow center tube and hammering on each mushroom side pin however the concern would be durability and longevity of course.
