Wonderful content yet again. You are absolutely right......in the day the watch is bright, sporty and fun and yet in those superb low light settings the blue disappears and it changes into a classy evening piece. 2 watches in 1 makes it a bargain!

I watched it again. such a great experience that you share with us. The end shots were incredible. the kid running was the tops of course.

Black and blue on the bezel, a blue handed gmt and blue luminor by night. That's ultimately cool. I bought mine at 2013 when they were released after Basel world. With a small discount by an AD. Unbelievable, but true. I often wear it since then and like it till now.

Congratulations - The BLNR is Rolex at it's very best! I collect Rolex watches and if I was ever in a situation where I could only keep one of them, it would definitely be the Batman. If you get the chance, try it on a black (with the thin blue stripe) Rubber B strap with the Rolex clasp. It looks more sporty and even more 'Batman' with this combo.

Agree the oyster bracelet is definitely the real Batman flavor. It also gives it a manly weight to the watch. I changed my jubilee to the brushed oyster bracelet. Great video 👊🏽

Another great vid! Your (and Lydia's) use of color while shooting reminds me of what we used to call "foreign color" that's why we always shot with Kodachrome 25 back in the day, the saturation and richness of Kodachrome versus Ektachrome. Then from the beginning with the Rach PC#2 one of my all-time favorites. That's a good version too from what we heard. I was always partial to the Cécile Licad performance with Claudio Abbado and the Chicago Symphony Orch. Sounds like slightly "stronger" hands on the version you used, who is that? On the watch side, I have the Batman, love it. Thought about the Batgirl, I do like the jubilee bracelet but, I thought I would just get a Pepsi and keep it at that. I have a Coke from 94, I think, it's in great shape. I like Coke better than Pepsi. Would have loved to see a ceramic Coke (was hoping 2020 alas we wait for 2021) I will add that it was interesting to see the paint inaccuracy on the 24 hour hand (mine too) someone in another video pointed it out about a year ago. I guess it's kind of unique to each one. Yea, that's what I will say. Makes each one unique. I think the comments about people being done with Rolex are always amusing, then they are going to get an Omega (I do love the Speedy, but which one?Geez) yours looks nice on that strap, and that Seamaster from one of your other vids has me looking at those. I will check that strap guy out. Of course, they will buy a Grand Seiko saying the quality is better, blah, blah, blah the Spingdrive is nice and maybe more accurate, but out of my watches on the winder if they are all set at the same time (almost never) especially the Rolex are spot on a week later or within a minute which I am never within a minute anyway. Or they will bring up the fact that all Rolex look the same and then say how they are going to get something original like a Royal Oak. LOL talk about looking the same? Well, I guess the goofy colors are kinda cool. I think the reason I always tell people that ask me "what watch should I buy?" I always say if you are buying 1, buy a Rolex. If you don't pay a super premium you will always be OK. So, if you want to sell it in the future or if the crap hits the fan and you have to sell it will be quick and you will probably get what you paid for it or close. Simple supply and demand. Anything else, it's a crap shoot. The problem I have with any watch with color. Kermit, Hulk, Batman, especially the Hulk I always feel "I" have to match it to something I am wearing. I have a few Yachmasters including the Slate Grey dial (I bought it for that dial and the blue second hand and writing) I always wear it with something blue, a shirt or usually tie. It's geeky I know but aren't we all kinda of geeky? In a super cool way of course. Cheers!

Nothing wrong with a bottle of Moët! I’ve got to say, the Speedy on your wrist and the Batman in the box are 2 of my favourite watches! I have a Speedy - Sapphire Sandwich on the black leather strap - my grail watch is the GMT Rootbeer but that Batman is stunning! Wear it in good health!

I am running out of adjectives to apply for your videos. Thus, I have to repeat what I said already: visually mesmerizing !!! For the main act, as well as for the background ! We are certainly not short of excellent Rach 2nd performances (Van Cliburn, Sultanov, Gavrilov, Andsnes...) but I would go with Kissin and LSO + Gergiev any time !

I just bought a Tudor Black Bay 58 Blue to use or complement my Rolex Explorer 214270 because I love the colour and I have been worried about bashing my Rolex in a door frame or somewhere.

It’s nice . Agree there’s also a certain romance owning the original iteration. I’m not huge on Rolex pro models as the lack of AR leading to the smokey dial annoys the hell out of me . If I was to add another this would be up there ..

I tried a mint example on in a local used watch shop and was underwhelmed, it’s a nice watch for sure, maybe for 9k I was expecting more & all the the hype didn’t live up to the watch for me. Ended up purchasing a Minty Omega 2254.50 at the same shop & time , the black one with sword hands “classic” loved it, and only £1500 lol. I think personally I’m more drawn to the black black, on black gmt Rolex that you have as well 👍.

Love it. I wasn’t able to get a 116710, but got a 126710. I personally like the looks of the oyster better in pictures, but I do enjoy the jubilee quite well. I think it works, and my wife thinks I look great in it, so there’s that :-)
