I built this last year and I love it. Now I await my new kit - Spaceport - and the kit to connect both of them. These will work electrical😍
Its alive its alive lol this reminds of a childs toy where the penguins climb the stairs to the top and goes around to the begining
I love these models. I've built quite a few. They're actually affordable and fun to build!
I think these make great gifts for anyone to build and display in their office or at home! Great fun!
I built the same one over Christmas last year . It went together perfectly. The first one I've ever done . Recently got the piano and owl clock to build now . Great video 👍
Just bought 2 of these. One of them I'll give to my nephew. Looks really fun to build
Short Circuit! Number 5 is alive! Excellent vid
Good deal! I just picked this one up. It's great, if very fiddly to get things aligned and working right. Very hard on your fingers!
That is really unusual but actually quite fun - I could imagine spending an odd 10 minutes running that ... fairly frequently! Sad isn't it? !! Al.
bought my first wooden models on a trip to Southport a few weeks ago, army jeep and an old racing car, still not built them due to a bit of a backlog of of other models, still bought another this morning though, the ROKR Gun model, think i need to get some building done....
Very nice build. I am surprised Mr Wow hasn't commandeered this for herself to play with.
Cool build ;reminds of the weird relative to a pachinko machine 🙂
ROKR make many good fun models, I have build a few, they are cheap and are a nice change from your usual modeling 😄👍
this was awesome. I should buy myself this
Nice looking build Wayne well done, and the music at the end is from short circuit
Loved the video, I like the whole mechanical look of that. Originally I thought the end music was from the film Robots where they have a similar contraption for crossing the city.....then I realised it was the opening music from Short Circuit where they show the construction of the Nova Robots (or at least I think it is).

I thought the music was going to be the Great Egg Race, this looks completely like something they would have done in that show! Showing my age now!
Thanks for the Video. Still working on mine
Wayne is The Flash(See DC comics) confirmed! He built the Marble Run thing in under 9 minutes with super fast movement! That's a really cool marble model thing!
That’s very cool. People have told me I’ve lost my marbles, so this may be where they wound up.
The music is from Short Circuit .. cool build.
😍I want a studio like yours
Not looked at other comments and only heard two seconds of the theme tune at most and can tell it is Short circuit.
Main title theme from Short Circuit by David Shire
My uncle had one of those old clocks I loved watching it when I was at his place. War games maybe the movie?

End song is short circuit
“It’ll have to go in the man cave…” me thinking you are in the man cave “because as you can see there’s no room in here!” - That’s _not_ your man cave? If that’s not then I’d love to see what is!!!

I meant the old mancave. It's a bedroom now

I have the Owl clock. took me over 3 weeks to almost finish.. it required a LOT of sanding and some cuts... I could never finish it because when I got to the sprigs the damn thing would not come together and its just sitting in a box now.. very fiddly . It was a mock up of the original owl.... I failed miserably. BTW I thought I saw this same puzzle with a electric motor?

Is the film Men In Black 2
Has anyone ever added a drop of superglue to a couple of key joints which are subject to wobble stress (like those supporting the crank assembly).

Just finished this build (Xmas present). I added glue to several of the joints that seemed prone to come apart under use.
I was keeping up with the build pretty well until you brought int eh big crank stack and I'm like Whoa, where did that come from?

Yer that was one of those after stream, lost myself with the time moments where I was so focused on building I didn’t realise how much I did lol

must be a different kit to mine, noticed some of your parts (side walls) were see through and possible plastic ! (and therefore stronger) made be because the video is speeded up you made it look easy, but in fact it is fiddly, tricky and requires a lot of patience and precision. Especially too get the handle to turn the cog wheel without sticking or jamming (and yes i know that is what the wax is supplied for). Some parts are very small and are easy to break and the instructions are not the most clear. Okay for an experienced and competent model builder like Wayne

Funny enough, I never used the wax

I feel the tolerances are so tight on the design, you have to seat the parts correctly. I built two kits and find the only weakness in the design is the, I am not sure how to call it, flipper/two state diverter. When the balls are led through it, the parts bounces and doesn't stay in the intended state. I am going to play with this part, possibly add a little weight. Also you have to have a level surface when using it, because the incline of each ramp is critical. So yes, this is a build for somebody that enjoys figuring out how things work and if they don't, why.
Short circuit?

The drive train of the winding crank looks weak and wobbly. It is a bit dodgy, mate, or is it robust enough?
