Marc has formed his own band called The Ultimate Queen Celebration. I saw them live in 2019 and was blown away. Marc is incredible live.

@BluebirdintheSky I do not agree, Gary is very good, but seems to have more of an Opera background and His voice is deeper. He is very Good, but his backing band completely sucks in comparison to the Original.

Because he'd loose...

I really don't understand the point of this. Anybody can play a queen song, it's really not that hard, you just learn the tune, practise it a lot and you can do it. The thing that's difficult is writing the music itself from scratch, doing something that's unique, popular and above all sounds great. That's why bands like Queen are still popular today, not just because they were great musicians, but because they were great song writers and had a unique sound.

More the reason they were great musicians since they had a unique style of their own and they were great songwriters, you kinda contradicted your own point

so I went and googled this Gary Mullins guy.... Uh NO. He's got a thick scottish accent, he only slightly sounds like Freddie when he's belting out a hard note, cant sing softer notes, he's geeky and scrawny, and balding... And dont get me started on the cheesy attempts to mimic Mercury's strutting and stage movements.

Gary Mullen wipes the floor with Martel as a Freddie impersonator.
