@@marie1969 “he will be fine” - you can’t know that ! Brian has (by his own admission elsewhere than in this particular interview) dealt with depressive episodes throughout his life, from long before he was famous. Clinical Depression (not situational) is a chemical imbalance in the brain, and often has a genetic component (ie , passed down through generations like any other genetic trait). Fame, fortune, good looks and genius IQ don’t protect him - he’s had to struggle and learn how to function despite depression just like anyone else. But money does make it easier to seek help outside the UK’s NHS.

Suffer from depression all my life. I know it a brain chemical imbalance and there's better treatment these days and better support. I was adopted at a young age and my so called siblings never wanted me. I grew up lonely and confused as to why my birth mother didn't want me. I went looking for answers and found out I had 2 brothers also adopted. I was. told all lies by the nun in charge of the adoption. Lies and cover ups. That was Ireland back in the day. I was homeless at 16 and began a job in a bar where I could live in. I was abused and scared by a Manchester United goalie and I had no one to turn to. He would stay in the pub I worked in. Who was going to believe me at 15yrs old and broke over that monster with all his money. If I'll ever find him I'll kill him I've had my share of depression and anxiety over the years but Im so much stronger now. I believe Brian will be strong too and learn to cope with it better. I wish him luck and happiness ❤❤❤

It's really hard live with anxiety and/or depression....suicide it's a consequence of depression, not a selfish act. Science needs to find new meds because actual ones are outdated and are not specific for depression, therefore the awful side effects like severe sexual dysfunction, also cannabis,LSD, shrooms and others should be investigated deeply to see if they could be somewhat modified to treat anxiety and depression.
