Maybe Brian should lower the AC in some of his mansions, and stop all the fertilizers on his estate lawns and gardens, and cancel the private jet and limo leases, and not have dedicated staff serving only him and all the plastic that goes with it that ends up in the sea. Indeed....I like that Mr May isn't overly sceptical about the change in Government but Starmer has already said that he'd like to see 1.5 million new homes built. I'm not sure where the displaced animals are supposed to go.

When it comes to priorities I find the absolute inverse to be true. The economy is the most important aspect by far, because If I no longer have to worry about how I'm going to make rent and feed myself, I'd actually have the time to care about the environment and the animals within it (Which i very much do). Instead i find myself working day in and day out, in a city filled with faces i don't recognize, that certainly don't seem very happy to see me. I've been priced out of the housing market entirely, rentals included. I don't have a shred of time or energy to devote myself to the protection of animals and the environment. That would change if every day wasn't a fight for survival. What remains true regardless of political beliefs, is the internet will kill you. The seeds of depression are watered by opinions on Instagram. It really takes the wind out of your sails.

Ok, let’s look at this. This situation has been caused by the Tories. They have reduced your employment rights, increased prices of everything, trashed the economy, pocketed billions of our money, decimated public services, increased the housing shortage and deflected blame by increasing immigration and blaming the immigrants for our problems. Think about the money for hotels for immigrants. Who made this decision and whose pocket is the money going into? We are being bombarded with propaganda from the media, run mostly by non-Dom billionaires, with a vested interest in supporting the Tories/Reform Ltd. Labour have promised to build affordable housing, etc. It’s a huge task to repair the state the country is in but let’s give them a chance.

Agreed and I will add to that by saying that all politicians have no power, and are bought and paid for by people FAR more wealthy and powerful higher up the hierarchy pyamid of global power. Politicians just carry out their orders from above, or face being sidelined or removed from government etc.

My concern about Starmer is he will say anything to anyone …

Very noble of you Brian. We are animal lovers too but we cannot put wild animals before the protection of our crumbling society and loss of national identity. I'm sure where you live its all perfectly well preserved. But you must know unlike most people you don't have to worry about the cost of a mortgage, energy bills, council tax, not being able to see a GP for a month, etc etc. In the real world we all have to worry about these things. Labour will continue to let in migrants by the millions and put our public services and our resilience to breaking point. They will bankrupt the country as they throw money down black holes. They will increase taxes on large businesses who will reflect that in job losses, wage cuts and increased prices. To those voting labour- please don't. You're turkeys voting for christmas.

You obviously never saw the clip from a live political TV show where May called people "bastards" before apologising profusely. He's not refined enough to be in the political world. Standing next to Queen Elizabeth II with his arms folded some years ago was enough to highlight that.

Concerned about animals Brian truly am but also concerned about the Labour parties silence on immigration and the impact that has on wildlife when they have said they will change the laws to build on green belt land across the country to build houses for immigrants who should not be here purely economic reasons not the ones we should be helping from war torn countries the same green belt land our wildlife needs and is going to loose because of this ridiculous and selfish proposal

How we treat our animals, both domestic and wild is a measure of us as human beings. Badgers have as much right to be protected as ourselves. Nothing has worked so far.

This link is a bogus smear carried out by the right wing media, with no basis in fact, and has long since been debunked. Like I said, stop spreading lies. There are a million other ways to attack Keir Starmer that are perfectly valid. This isn't one of them.

People come first. When all the human suffering and injustice in the world - cancer, alzheimers, disasters, abuse, wars, slavery, trafficking, discrimination, abortion, FGM, etc - has all been addressed we will maybe think about animals.

one of the greatest rock guitar players ever, brians style has never been emulated,plenty have tried....only hendrix and bian have that gift imho, as a guitar player myself i feel confident enough to mention that. lovely man, and indeed a worthy speech here, but no way am i voting for cons or labour. im more worried about stopping our british culture and values being slowly taken over by the loony left and the religion of peace, so i will be voting reform uk. if i can help out the animals myself via charitys ect...i will though. im not woke...but i am awake.

Sadly, the career-politicians on both side of the benches are there for their donors' financial interests. The protection of our wildlife should be a given, choose whoever is temporarily running the show.

Everything is at stake in elections everywhere. Human rights, animal rights, a clean environment, a healthy planet; it's frightening. In the US, we're still trying to stop wildlife killing contests, state by state. It's horrific. 😭

Vote for whatever party you agree with. Whether it’s green, liberals, reform, or looney etc. Not just one of the two that are effectively the the same time after time.

As much as I love animals, I'm more concerned about elderly people living in damp hard to heat properties, families having to work all the hours God gave, to pay the bills, the need for food banks etc etc. Oh, and I voted for REFORM.

You look as handsome as ever Bri. I am in my late 40’s and I am grateful not everyone gets to my age.

Compassion for the wonderful Animal World is uppermost. I was terribly upset to hear in Australia where l live a local Farmer illegaly culled around 30 koalas on his farm in S.W. Victoria, thank heavens our country's laws do not permit this and he was prosecuted. Keep up the good work Sir Brian. Cheers R

Both major parties will promise and then ignore us for personal power and greed. A stable and viable country can spend more time and effort on saving the planet. I agree we need to act and save our planet, but we must keep our country in order first. I would also prefer to see other countries not fighting each other at the top of the list. I don't know how to stop the fighting around the world but we must find a way to do this as fast as we can!

We're lucky here in Scotland that we don't have any badger culling. We need to be the voice for wildlife. I always think that they were here before us and urban development is taking away their homes. Thank you Sir Brian for helping be a voice for our amazing wildlife. Let's be honest, they all have their own agenda, however labour have openly stated they will build build build and they will rip up the current planning process. Part of that process is ensuring our green belt where many of our wonderful animals live, is well catered for and considered in the planning process. If labour steam roller that in, you can kiss goodbye to any greenbelt and what damage then will that do to our wildlife?? For reference I am still undecided
