He made watching tennis like watching a circus and a freak show. None of the present day matchups have anything near the excitement of a standard Federer match. Then the examples you gave make no sense as 3 players have been nominated who have all won at least 20 slams, the numbers must be considered but they must not be considered "only" them, only accountants do it, certain sofa fans, those who they have never picked up a racket, and so on.

Ferrer was really topping out. He had everything - the mentality, the fight, the speed. Some guys were never going to beat Federer. Breaking the Federer serve being a major roadblock. Unbelievable.

The best one was against Agassi, and next to that was the ping pong shot against Anderson.

Nice compliation, but you forgot the best shot of them all: 2006 Roland Garros vs Nalbandian. Pure magic!

RG against Nishikori, drop-shot from the baseline, drops over the net and jumps over the entire doubles alley before bouncing a second time. Line up 100 top pro’s and have them try to do it off a ball-machine feed. Fed made these shots under match pressure!

Federer looks like he’s playing table tennis on a tennis court. Us humans can only watch and try to comprehend.
