From an arrangement perspective, the key change in this song is so amazing and literally gets me every time! Rod Stewart is a master composer!

I can now stop listening to I Don't Want to talk about It 💔 My husband died 17 months ago and during that time I didn't have much to say simply because we had been together for 37 years and I was lost No doubt about it. This song was my outlet I mean come on folks it says I Don't Want to Talk about It🌹 Which is exactly what I did. I had to give myself time to heal and then to figure out a new plan on how to live without him. I can successfully say that I've done both🌹. I'm learning to move on without him and I'm also learning to live just for me.🌹☘️ So thank you Rod but I don't need to listen this song anymore as It's therapeutically done its job aka it helped to healed me. I am almost 64 and I think I agree with you. Maybe only some people find true love. Too many only become brokenhearted and dishearted.

You all know that Rod has proven himself as a renowned singer and I've been through several of his concerts. However folks let's give credit to the Royal philharmonic are they not incredible focused musicians that never miss a key? They are the best of the best musicians in Europe 💯♥️ No doubt about it! Conheço muitas e muitas músicas, mas pouquíssimas têm uma melodia e uma harmonia tão tocante na alma...Passaram-se 44 anos e o próprio Rod a regravou por diversas vezes.... Ela não deixa de me trazer lágrimas.... Quanta saudades de tudo que eu vivi e de todos com quem convivi nessa época... Daqui a muitos anos, talvez ela não esteja mais sendo ouvida, porém ela está imortalizada nos acordes da vida e na linguagem Universal de Deus....Contribuiu para enriquecer a essência do bom, do belo, da doçura. These days I've been rediscovering Rod. I'm sorry I missed the last 30 years bouncing from genre to genre. But I've come full circle now, back to my roots and all is well. Love this man!👊❤

Good music never leaves you....it is intertwined in your memory and feelings. Other genres may come and go but I suspect, for our generation, that you always go back to the beginning of the circle, for good reason.

I couldn't agree more. For many years I've paid little attention to Rod Stewart and just wrote him off as some gay singer who sings crappy songs that nobody cares about. Now I'm like damn, this guy is a living legend and musical powerhouse with more money and more chicks than I could ever dream of.
