That was a most enjoyable rockhounding adventure! Your voice is so soothing to listen to, and to hear you explain all about the different types of rocks, just lulls you into a state of peaceful bliss. Your rocks were amazing! The crevice agates were amazing, and of course i want to see more cutting of your picture stone! They are wonderful! And your new jade! Bowenite is awesome. But that jasper is the real stars! So beautiful! The colors are just amazing and all together in one rock! just amazing! thank you for a very satisfying rock hunt! Thanks!

Those bumble bees get drunk here in MT too, pretty funny, furry, little guys. Love the bowenite and the fantastic jasper you have there! They're absolutely beautiful. The agatey rock @22:50 is gorgeous but that isn't waterline, it's fortification banding. Waterline is parallel lines of layered agate, chalcedony or common opal within an agate. The fortification banding is the really decorative looking banding within an agate. In this rock and the next bigger one the fortification banding is really wonderful! Thanks for sharing this awesome area and your great finds with us Nate!✌️🤠

Hit that piece of glass with a black light. Could be uranium glass and it will glow bright green. When I lived in Missouri the bumble bees would get drunk on nectar and just be laying on the ground in my garden. Thanks for the video can’t hunt down here was 107 today in the desert.

I'm pretty certain the black mineral at 9:50 is arfvedsonite which is an amphibole. Hornblende is another one but when they are long and rectangular it is usually arfvedsonite.💫

@@QuestForDetails thank you! It's been a pretty good day. Learning to stay put in spots longer, so enjoying Central Colorado right now. Found some areas you would have a blast at with your metal detector with all the old mining camps. That "rainbow trout" colored jasper was stunning btw and all that white agate. Really enjoyed this one. Thank you.

Hey Nate, I think at the 35:30 mark.. your Golden nugget may also be part of the Poppyseed Jasper family, and the red Poppyseed found later on is fantastic too. Looking forward to seeing what you do with them... Qust On!

Giday Nate, man that gravel bed is a rockhounds(fossickers) dream location. You have so many great jaspers there, plus the serpentine and so many others, quite stunning. That white one early in the video looked special as well, the black areas looked like some for dendrite I think I would have kept to check closer. Then again I probably would have overloaded my wagon with what’s in that creek, 😂😂. I guessed you wouldn’t resist a couple of those landscape pieces if you came across some nice ones,😜 , don’t blame you. I still have a soft spot for those jaspers especially the red ones, though there are so many nice jaspers there it is bewildering. I like the red blackberrys more than the black ones, even better sour kick. 😂😂. Cutting the picture stones is always an enjoyable watch. Keep Safe & Keep Rockin.

How can you tell if a dry creek bed is old? Are they worth looking into? With the Sacramento River down pretty low here in Northern California , should make for some good un-searched access finds. P.S. love your videos!!
