Tough finding access but the deeper the gully the cooler and the color of rocks in the shallows! The fauna, clear water, little water falls, little gravel bars, all kins of trees reflecting rich changing colors. The dog and i love those spots. Hard to find, worth it. Socks always wet.

Awwww, love your deep thought Nate! So cool that you are sensitive to the wind's feelings, right on! The little orange creature on the rock at 32:04 is a ladybug pupae. Those are some really mind blowing jaspers, thanks for sharing the universe within the stones!!!!

Nate, INDIAN CAVE PAINTING OF MOOSE OR DEER AT 30:39! This is some of the best jasper I've seen on your channel. I m a big time rockhound and I dig your channel. Id love to go rock hunting with you. Like you, I have the gift of discovering. The first fossil I ever found had a live lizard sitting on it. When I came up on him he scurried off , then I noticed that the rock had a beautiful fossil of a fish. Thanks Mr. Lizard for turning me on to a life time passion.

My brother, many thanks for the location share. Last Sunday, 6/23/19, a friend and I went to the Veterans of Lake County Memorial Bridge. So far I have sliced six rocks on my Lortone 10” slab saw. When the slabs drop the reveal is like Christmas! Many beautiful gifts from Mother Earth. Only went to that one spot on Kelsey Creek and it was fabulous. Thanks.

4/3/2022 *Great stuff Nate. I just got back from a Kelsey Creek/Manning Creek double feature. I met a "townie" couple at Kelsey Creek who mentioned they had watched your vids this morning and suddenly had to hit the gravelbars! Yup, even the locals love your stuff my dude. Kelsey Creek was total eyeball overload. I did fine walking the edge of the creek but once I took my water sprinklin' bottle, scrub brush etc. and hit the gravelbar itself I entered a feedback loop:* *internal dialogue* (I know, it's supposed to be "internal monologue". Welcome to my world.) Our hero surveys a 90 degree arc centered directly in front of him, ten feet away at the farthest (furthest?). He pushes both pairs of glasses, prescription and polarized sunglass, higher up the slippery bridge of his nose. The sun is bright over his shoulder, there is no wind. He drops his eyes to his toes and lets them sort of mill about. Slowly, he mills about in a straight line, right up the middle of that 90 degree wedge. *"Don't tell me what to do, professor."* *"Just look at every rock between your toes and about 10 feet out. Take a 2 or 3 foot wide swipe, go slow. Cool, now take that swipe to the right, 45 degrees from center, and sweep it back to your toes slow like"* *"Dude! I saw like six rocks I wanna pick up!"* *"Stay put and picture them where they lay. Three feet thataway next to the turd lookin' rock? Now sweep back out to the left at 45 degrees from center, then sweep back to centerline, about 10 feet in front of you. Now break off and sweep the parts to left and right that were INSIDE the area you just searched."* *"I know how to LOOK at stuff, stop bullying me."* *"Dude, I know, you look at stuff like a mo-fo. Now you wanna SEE stuff."* *"This goes through my head when I look at stuff; Dunno, dunno, kinda sandy, not really, wtf is that anyway, nope, nope no-what? Huh? Hmmmm. Crap, nope, mmmmm, no. ? Hmmmm. Huh? Oh dang! DUDE! This is epic! If I wasn't looking I wouldn't have seen!"* Then I take 3 steps forward and start all over again. Have a killer spring and everyone keep on Questing! Wayne/CRH

Wow exceptional Rockhounding fines on this video. Out of the 3 locations I think the 2nd one was the best. It had the most beautiful red, green, silver speckled, Jasper and a lot of green rock, Agates. Beautiful. When you zoomed in on a rock I imagined a drone flying over mountains or terrain with rivers. Each rock collected was prettier than the one before, if that's possible. And all in the same general area. And your parking was very conveniently located next to the river. I think it was an unforgetable Rockhounding day. Thanks so much. I never would have experienced such wonder were it not for you. Happy Hounding ;D

Good that you spread the respect aspect of rock collecting we all get a little bit too close to other peoples land sometimes and you're right from their perspective they probably don't know you're rock collecting. I had cops shine lights on me the other night when I was collecting with my cell phone light at night too close to houses but still on public land

There is no gemstone around here, but I found molten glass from World War II. I'm looking for riverglass. it was a great coincidence. You have a great way of dealing with Mother Nature. and the way you explain things to us viewers is very pleasant. thank you very much and keep going.

Spectacular greens! Green is also my favorite color. My eyes are Army green, maybe this is why. 😊 Some cool editing by the way. I didn't know you were a magician. The rocks want you to find them so badly that they just jump up out of the stream, right into your hand. 😉😊☺️ The Jasper's you're finding reminds me of paintings done by the famous, Jackson Pollock. Especially one done in 1952, called Blue Poles. You'd love his work, I do believe Nate. So, so much like Jasper. You should look up his work if you are not familiar with it. 😊

I like to take the family dogs on long walks. Also I like geology and have learned to combine the two. When looking for rocks the rain is your friend, It allows them all to shine. I live in southeast NORTHUMBERLAND. We don't have your land laws that I know of. If we do, they are ignored. We mustn't deny the beauty to stand tall and be witnessed.

Fabulous video! 👍👍 Looking at those jaspers and listening to the stream is so relaxing. Would you ever consider selling some pretty rocks from that area? My youngest daughter would flip to own some. I've never seen anything like that in the southeast. I like the new GPS aspect or whatever it is. Tyfs.

Wow! Such colors 😍 woul love to see some of those in jewelery! You're truly living the dream! I wish though one day to be able to travel and see all that beauty! Do you shape any stones and sell them like in a chakra set by chance?😊😀
