Great piece of machinery. I am a volunteer at the Archer Park Rail Museum and I love the old girl. Some day I will be driving it.

At the beginning, I actually thought it was a diesel engine at low RPM. What a well maintained steam tram. I haven't seen a street version with the coach section actually integrated into the locomotive part like that, makes a lot of sense though!

Its amazing to think that this is the sole survivor. Archer park is a special place every visitor to Rocky' should make an effort to get there. I may make a model after I get the Baldwin Tram motor finished. Its a most impressive mechanical contrivance..

Tramcar Trev I’m from Melbourne and visited Rocky during the summer months, however this tram runs during the colder months and I made a special effort to get there after visiting Cloncurry and Burketown in August.

A beautiful and quiet running tram. Pity they can't fit it with a steam whistle (maybe off a PB15).

How did you manage to wangle a footplate ride? The day we were there in 2011 the driver had the grumps and even yelled at a passenger for standing up.

The world is so shite scared nowadays that people will not accept responsibility for their own actions. Being sued for stupidity is common. Unfortunate, hey, but it is a Sheilas world we are living in. Men have been castrated, and now are having babies.

Congratulation ! They know how to create a genious tourist attraction for their city ... rather than those dilletants from Weymouth in GB !
