71 here!
Watch this live from Madison Square Garden 1973...the best music has to offer!
Now you need to hear the live version from MSG, 1973.
"They're the only group that can do this"... Yep, you get it!
You should for sure check out the Madison Square Garden performance.
Please do the live version Led Zeppelin - Since I've Been Loving You (Live at Madison Square Garden 1973)
Their first two albums are more blues based, though some songs on other albums are too. This song live at Madison Square Gardens (1973), is even more soulful bluesy & passionate. Their first two albums are more blues based, with blues mixed in other albums. Everything they do is absolutely amazing, so you won’t be sorry if you delve deep. This guys love the blues, & Plant’s vocals are perfect for them. Since I’ve Been Loving You live, is one of my two favorite lives. My other favorite live is at Earls Court the May 25,1975 version of In My Time Of Dying, another great live of bluesy passion. If you want I’ll give you more great picks. Thanks for your reaction, hope to follow a long Led Zeppelin journey.
One of my own favorites, too. Live version from Madison Square Garden is fantastic. I love Blues, and Zeppelin brings it. Plants vocals with Jimmy Page's guitar work is amazing. John Bonham's style on the drums gives it life. John Paul Jones on bass and keys, lays a foundation throughout the track. Timeless.
I LOVE the studio version of this song, but believe it or not, their 73 MSG performance is even better! 😳😎

Robert does his thing then Jimmy does his thing , meanwhile , JPJ and Master Bonham always doing their thing nicely. Best rythem section ever.
Next 2 you should react to: •"I Can't Quit You Baby" •"Babe I'm Gonna Leave You"
73 Live Since I've been loving you
Each of these geniuses are the GOATS of their crafts, together they are The GODS of MUSIC!
If you like this, you'll like Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, or The Lemon Song. You'll also find that each new Zep song you listen to will become your favorite lol.
Zeppelin were the generation AFTER Chuck Berry, B.B.King, etc.

Love the variations over time in live shows … especially the solos
now listen to the live performance at Madison Square garden! mind blowing!
I think this is simply one of the best recordings ever laid down by mortal men. It’s just astonishing every time. The technical precision that somehow feels like raw emotional improv. The famous live version from MSG is great because it shows how much they evolved their songs for live shows, but that can only be fully appreciated by hearing the album cut first. You made the right call! Thanks for giving me a reason to hear this masterpiece again!

if only Roberts vocals were on 68-72 level for the movie :(
Robert can sing anything. He is currently touring with Country/Bluegrass singer/fiddle player Alison Krauss. They have a couple of albums together.
Start from the beginning….. best Journey you will ever take ! ❤️🎸🔥
Greetings from Canada. Blues Rock, actually. Peace, love and bellbottoms.
Jimmy Page is wicked on lead guitar
They were kids in england who grew up listening to R&B so they were directly influence by all the major rock and blues artists.
Robert singing on this song is so emotional and bluesy.
Great music comes from people who appreciate the music that was before them. True in every art.
Even Robert Plant himself has said that he thought his vocals were at their peak on Led Zeppelin III. I fell in love with this song the very FIRST time I heard it!! To me, this song shows you not only Robert Plant's vocal range but his ability to evoke the passions that he's feeling through just his voice!! When he hits that LAST scream... I FEEL that in the depths of MY soul. ❤❤❤❤

YES!!!! One of their best!!!! This one is pure blues 🔥. Great reaction Mugs!!!! So glad you did the studio version; so clean. Grew in the 70’s with my parents who were in their 20’s playing Led Zeppelin albums in our apartment; been listening for my whole life; 56 now, Mom’s 78; we jam together ❤
Watch this live from MSG in 1973. The live version is fantastic.
Been my fave for 50+ years. Hard to top that!!!

Greatest band ever...perfect performance!!
I'm 50 years old. My personal trifecta of this generation of music is, The Doors, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin. Put me on a deserted island until I die with only 3 bands to listen too, I'm good with those 3.
Beating the brakes off of it. A wonderful ride.
It's my favorite song too! I hope you're ready to start down this rabbit hole now. They're the greatest, and by the way, they'll never stop surprising you! Start from the beginning, I promise you won't regret it! ☮️

7 to 11 every night is a 16 hour shift.Did a bunch in my time at Kaiser Aluminum in Tacoma Washington years ago.Mine was usually 8 in the morning til midnight.Go home close your eyes for a minute and before you know it the alarm goes off so you can go do it all over again
Please do yourself, (and us), a big favor and go deep into the world's greatest rock and roll band!! Imo, they are actually a blues bands that rocks hard, especially their early stuff. I can't wait til you hear You Shook me from the first album and The Lemon Song from their second masterpiece. Blues, jazz and soul all mixed up in a r&r stew!! Music at it's finest. Peace, Mugs!!
The live version is awesome.
In my time of dying, that will be ur fav song once u hear it
Mug! Watching the live concert version is good as well.
You have to hear this live from MSG in 1973 OMG I get chills every time 😂Great reaction and Peace out ✌️ ☮️
The GOAT!
My favorite Zeppelin song!
"You Shook Me" from their first album
Oh yeah my favorite too!
This is possibly my favourite Zep song.
If this is your new favorite then you must do live version 1973 MSG….
Definitely in their Top-3. Kashmir, Since I've Been Loving You, and When the Levee Breaks.
You should do " When the Levee breaks" next. Talk about some blues ya'll
Jimmi Page on guitar my man. Thank you. More please
Simply the BEST
Cool, more Zep ⚡😎⚡
It all feeds each other black white does not matter felling and talent means everything.....I watched and listened to soul train and American bandstand and heard great music....
My Favorite song too
Page's best solo IMHO.
Pretty epic guitar solo. Yeah Robert sings his guts out, but it's the guitar that makes this song top tier amongst rock songs.
❤❤❤❤
If you haven't already listened to their song "Trampled Under Foot" it's a must listen! Such an amazing song of an amazing album!
Gotta see Madison Square Garden ‘73 performance of this.
Great reaction, glad you did the studio version. Haven’t heard this in a few years.
Try "Tea for One" from their "Presence" album. It's an under-played song. It's a more laid-back blues.
Great Reaction 👍🙏😎💯
Mmhmmm 🔥
The only way to properly listen to Zeppelin is from Album 1 to Album 10.
Great reaction. You should just start at Led Zeppelin 1 and react to each album.
If you like reggae try Led Zeppelin “D’yer Maker” pronounced Jamaica!!!
You should do my desert island album: Physical Graffiti- if I could only take one album with me to the island for the rest of my life it’s that one
Bluesy Zep is the best Zep.
Check out the BBC sessions recordings on this one.
Please don’t cut off Robert just as he's reaching a crescendo, that's a cockblock 😅
You have to check out the live version. It's better!
You should know that every English group that came to America during the so called "English Invasion" were heavily influenced by Blues artists from the US
What was the date and location of this recording? I’ve never heard it before! Robert usually usually starts out with a long howl that sends chills up your back. He’s very laid back in his approach here. Jimmy is LIT 🔥 as is Bonham! This and Tea for Two are my favorite LZ followed by Kashmir. I hope you’ll review the latter soon

It was recorded and released in 1970, it's on their third album, Led Zeppelin III. Most of that album was recorded when they were staying at Headley Grange, where they used the Rolling Stones mobile studio. Jimmy did that jaw dropping solo in one take!
Jimmy page ripped out that improv solo 1st go in 1 take on and amp he'd never even seen before. He just plugged his guitar in and went for it. For engineer who recorded it to this day says it's the best guitar solo he's ever heard in his life
That was nasty, but the live is better.
Live version is fire! Came out in 1970. This song wasn't even a hit for them. No radio play at all and peeps only started getting into it when youtubers started reacting to it.
This song is sex on a beat
Come on with it..
Wrong version, 73 MSG IS THE BEST VERSION.
Are you suggesting Zep copied BB or any other black blues... No
Music isn't black, white, etc., regardless of your favorite color of musician.
