Great interview here. He is so comfortable :)
"when you stop looking at yourself from the outside, thinking what I could do... everything will clear up"... although he discredits it, I think its another solid piece of advice.. speaking as someone still trying to find my place, making the best of my ambitions...I swear he amazes me more in person like this than in any of his films

Verbatim. I don't have addiction issues, fortunately, but I do have my own personal issues. And I, myself, am in a similar process! This is part to why I've taken a liking onto RDJ. I've always had good vibes from him, so I thought, why not look more into him? This is how I've grown onto him, as he 'gets me' in several ways that many don't! :) *May you wind up on the right path & be well!!

Mr Duvall got it wrong...RDJ didnt get out of his bad times easily....RDJ corrected it so well saying it was his work ethics...and what's next...!!!...
I've listened to Mr.Downeys Interviews for years , conducting himself as a gentleman walking down the red carpet with many starlets .. He's always interesting to hear. He involves himself in projects that lending his name to gets the green light .. This film seems very Main stream for him to care enough to do Cover Photos for .. Talk shows , Junkets etc .. He's not looking for the Prize in Hollywood that one might think ( Oscar ) But perhaps Him and his Wife Susan Downey are starting Fresh . New Marriage , New Baby , and New Picture Both as a Team .. She wears the pants in the Family and he's surrendered himself to her & Hollywood a place were he's always been well respected .. This will be his chance to stand on stage at The Kodak theater in March and Mentally say Fuck to Hollywood that tried to drive him off the road and crash ..
