It also means they are enjoying that drink, I would hope, as well. Instead of pounding it to get blitzed or drinking it to be part of the norm. I feel like any good drink deserves a nice pause to enjoy the flavor and texture to it. I know that's what I did when I tried an 18 year old scotch for the first time. =)

Here's where Colbert really shines as an interviewer - he just knows his guests. That pause was much more comfortable than Fallon (no disrespect) trying to wedge more conversation in; they could just sit and enjoy the sake, and he let de Niro break the silence. Very Craig Ferguson. I feel like de Niro is a very difficult man to interview properly. Some guests overflow with energy and enthusiasm and are very easy to interview (Terry Crews, Craig Ferguson, Denis Leary, David Sedaris), and some aren't.

Channel T if you pronounced it trying to preserve the Japanese sound your dad is correct. But we always create an American way to pronounce foreign words. Like IKEA in the US is pronounced eye-kay-ah whereas if you preserve the Swedish sound it's ee-kay-ah.

Normally I wouldn't bring Trump into something unrelated like this, but De Niro's dressdown of him was easily the most satisfying celebrity comment on the guy I've ever seen, so much so that I honestly gained a notable amount of respect for him after seeing it. It's on KZread if you haven't seen it. If you're not interested, sorry for reminding you that President Trump is a thing.

De Niro, man. At this point, he could make more shit films than Nic Cage and go crazy but he'd still be one of the greatest actors of all time. A true legend.

playermartin286 thank you! Craig doesn't get half the credit he deserves and of late, as much as I have admired Stephen's shows, I notice he's been incorporating some elements very similar to that of the TLLS without giving due credit....surely he can't be unaware entirely. It's the same network...

Brando played many roles. That portrayed. Characters we can relate to and did them very well. As far as his personal life. And causes that. Was his own choices just like we all do.

Filosofo Tacio I suspect that would be rather expensive given the quality of that sake and the size of those boxes. Pretty sure that only counts for the little ceramic cups, right?
