John5 is an example of what happens when you mix intelligence with true individualism (how many rock stars can say they don't do, feel the need to do, or acquiesce to doing, drugs) and talent. What a seemingly fantastic person.
I absolutely have a new respect for John 5. Specially for not drinking or doing drugs
I am extremely impressed with Eric, what a great interviewer. He let's the artist talk, actually knows what they are talking about and asks relevant followup questions. Great interview. Cheers!
John 5 is an anomaly in the music world. No drugs, no alcohol even. Virtuoso guitarist and a down to earth guy. Humble and respectful. He is an amazing person. Much love to you, John!
John5 is a great example of how a super good musician can make an entire band better. His effect on MM was so profound.
What a lovely person. I don't know of many other "Rock Stars" that have such a perfect understanding of what it is that they do> On one hand I find it kind of funny and on the other hand kind of disrespectful and absurd that Jon 5 was actually asked to leave "Marilyn Manson's" band because he DID'NT DRINK OR DO DRUGS..LOL..this has to be a 10 plus on the ridicules meter...I'm glad that he is doing so well and seems to be so happy and content in what he is doing.one of the greatest guitarists alive!
John 5 is such a classy guy. I was at the Sacramento show with MM and Hole, because Hole was great and Manson sounded awesome. I saw them 5 times and that was the best that I heard them sound.
Me being a guitarist, I seriously wouldn't imagine myself "altering my state of mind" with drugs... I don't want to ruin any possible career.
it tripped me out hearing him say he was influenced by watching Roy Clark on Hee Haw my dad used to be Roys manager,Roy gave me my first guitar when i was 13 years old, a 1964 Fender Jaguar gold metalflake.
This is possibly the nicest guy in the world, because he's never really suffered. He has no resentment, no anger, no deep hatred, because he's been given or earned everything he could ever want. There's something to be said for being great-looking, rich, and talented pretty much from birth.
John 5 is a class act.
These comments are amazing, I hope John 5 sees them, he deserves all these nice sentiments.
Ladies and Gentlemen, this man is the very definition of a CLASS ACT.
This guy is great... I wound up watching the whole interview... John 5 is awesome- a new fan
