actually, it's because he's a bitter man who (was) still bitter about break up of 'his' band (white zombie), and the mess it was, instead of being proud of what that made him achieve and how that band gave him to tools to do another hobby in which he found rejuvinating joy ( horror movie directing ).

The thing about his house is, sure it's big, but it's actually practical. It's just a classic tudor mansion-esque type house. People get money and they buy those 30000 sf ugly homes. He bought a simple classic home with a lot of charm. But it's clearly still an upscale home just a realistic one with just enouh extra space to make sense. If I had money I'd buy something similar. Some old house that was def a mansion back in the 30s but not excessively so.

Met him at Pain in the Grass concert, and dude was just down to earth and easy as fuck to talk to. Even knows how to calm fans down one on one. Could not be a sweeter man.

My Dad heard me listening to Highway to Hell and asked me if i thought i was going to hell? I said no, and that song is about touring in a band. That was the end of the conversaition. The only other thing he brought up was "make sure you listen to more than just Metallica and ACDC so you have some variety." And that was it. He figured that as long as i didnt take the lryics literally, there wasnt an issue.

I love how different his voice is compared to his music voice

This is one of the few houses that is so personalized that you just know it couldn’t have been faked. There’s no way this is a rented house, this is definitely Rob Zombie’s house.

This guy is hilarious, he seems like a very intelligent and genuinely good person.

I do believe the sq footage is wrong in the description though, I live in a 5,000 sq ft house with 7 bedrooms and 5 baths and it looks twice the size of his. I met Rob Zombie once when he was in Branson Missouri. He was at his former guitar player tattoo parlor. I was getting a tattoo from one of the employees. My wife was like Rob Zombie is here. I was like really then the owner of the place walks in and Rob Zombie is behind him. I was like cool nice to meet u guys. Rob liked the tattoo I was getting skulls and bones. He said he approves it. My wife was like u mind signing his arm next to the tattoo he did. Rob Zombie approved 100% the tattoo artist tattooed Robs signature . I had people go yeah right I show the video of Rob Zombie signing it. And there like 😨😨😨

It’s interesting after knowing Rob as a youth how much he’s changed. Yet he stayed exactly the same. He and his brother Mike were also great artists. I remember watching Mike draw during class. Super talented.

An absolute Legend

I used to design kitchens when this aired. I hand-drafted a kitchen for Rob based on this episode. I was able to approximate sizes based on standard appliance and architectural details. I wish I was able to send it to him but I could t figure out how. Even if he never executed the designs, I think he would have liked the details!

His work was part of my teens years and made those times a lot of fun, so creative, anapologetic and authentic, a true artist.

Why does he look even younger than I remember him looking in the 90s? He's always been awesome AF, but I didn't realize how handsome he is ♥️

Rob was on Cribs several years ago & the spa and pool were full of sludge & weird growth. Nice job cleaning things up!!

That would be Kid Rock. He's got a double wide painted camouflage on the side of a mountain outside of Nashville and another one in Alabama. He said he got them because it was going to take too long to build a house. It's got a ridiculously huge deck around it and he says he has the 'Biggest Deck In Nashville."

@@te9591 It was a while ago He was with White Zombie, opening for Danzig around the 2nd Dazing album tour. Mostly B Horror and Si-Fi, Some classics like Creature from the Black Lagoon, the Thing original and the J. Carpenter remake. The old cheesy 50's 60's stuff. The shows we would watch as kids, Creature Feature, The Goul, etc. Every T.V. market had them back in the day, I'm 49 yrs old... "I remember meeting Shawn the girl who played bass...Shawn meet Shawn...LOL! I said "great minds think alike"....She replied " You guys are clever!" I had two friends with me we all polished off a case of Budweiser. My buddy really was waiting for Danzig to come out....Rob said he'll be busy for a long time. Me I could care less...Rob was awesome! I like Dazing...is he gonna give me free beer and a conversation....NO!

@@te9591 Danzig...Back stage with Fans,LOL! Rob was sitting on the Bumper of a tour bus when we walked up. I'm not sure it was for that 2nd Dazing album our not MTV Mother was popular at the time. Kyuss may have been the opening band? To many shows over the years. Rob was a Great guy...shit everyone we meet was!

Never really saw anything about Mr. Zombie. Just a regular guy right ...living out his dream. Pretty Cool little video. Didn't know he was so witty.

I would’ve laughed so hard if his house was like normal. Normal bed , normal paint walls. Kitchen looking normal. Has a movie collection on comedy and romance!
