What an awesome bike! I’ve got a 78 CB400A but it doesn’t compare with the power of your rebel! I also have an 83 C70 passport and just picked up a Navi so your supercub and Navi content has been great! What mods are you thinking for the Navi? I’m trying to figure out a way to put Apache cases from Harbor Freight on the Navi’s accessory rack, not sure if you’ve considered side cases for it. I see some folks have upgraded their intakes and jetted the carbs already.

Thanks for the feedback! I've already installed the Honda rear rack (not much more than a tiny shelf bracket), and I'm waiting for my Honda windscreen to arrive. I am installing a SHAD SH33 top case on the rear rack, and I'll be adding an emergency fuel bottle somewhere on the rear rack. Other than those add-ons, I'll probably leave the NAVI mostly stock except for an exhaust upgrade (maybe some carburetor jets to match the exhaust). Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

Does the middle mirror make a big difference

Yes, the RiderScan mirror makes a huge difference in terms of situational awareness in traffic. There is a learning curve to use it properly because the image is convex and reversed, but it becomes second nature after a few hours of riding. It's very rare for me to be caught off-guard with a cager hiding in my blind spot while I'm riding with one of these mirrors. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

We're doing OK... thanks for checking in! The snow and ice was mostly in the central and northern parts of Texas, so we just had cold weather and a bit of sleet here. I've been down with a nasty chest cold for a couple of weeks, but I'm finally getting back to normal now. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

@LifeOfBurch ( kzread.info ) is another KZread moto-vlogger located in Annapolis, Maryland. He has owned all three versions of the modern Honda Rebel... 300cc, 500cc, and now the new 1100cc. He and I took delivery of our Rebel 1100's around the same time, but he started producing videos a few weeks before I did. His channel exploded in viewership and membership due to the Rebel 1100 and a giveaway that he did on his Rebel 500... along with his great content and easy-going attitude. He put out a short video and community post that he would be hosting his first subscriber meet-up event, so I immediately started the plans for the 3200-mile round trip from Houston, TX to Annapolis, MD. It was a fantastic ride, and it was great to meet all of Burch's member community. 😉👍 --QM

Very scenic ride nice 👍 historical buildings some subtle twisties some tiny hills and beautiful ocean 🌊 view. That Honda 450 looks like the honda monkeys 🙊 grandfather 👴

Sell all your bikes if you won the lotto? I'm the opposite. I'll buy every bike out on the market and build a barn big enough for all of them.

Agreed! I'd probably disappear on the water for a year or two, and then buy a bunch of land out in the country. I'd likely build a biker's bed-n-breakfast with a few hundred acres of off-road and ADV trails to explore.
