Roadpro Mini Oven VS Sabot Heat Mini Oven: 12v Mini Oven: Cooking in Semi

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

whats the best 12 volt mini oven for cooking on the go. Sabot Heat lunch box mini oven vs roadpro min oven or max burton mini oven.
we think the sabot heat wins hands down. One of the big reasons is the plug doesn't seem to get incredibly hot like the road pro and max burton mini ovens do. The Sabot Heat seems to cook food much quicker while keeping food moist.
if you are looking for speed then none of these products are what you are looking for. They are however a great solution to be able to eat a warm meal while only having access to 12 volt power.
Be careful, stay safe and enjoy the adventures.
thanks for watching.

Some constructive criticism: in the video you mentioned the "road pro" and the "Max Burton" about six times. But when referring to the product that you were recommending you kept saying "this" without saying the name of the product. I believe the name is in the description, but it would be helpful to say the name a few times so it's clear. That being said, love your videos. Keep doing what your doing. And stay safe!

Thank you for the support and kind advice. I reall appreciate the delivery of it. So many people are often so mean. Forget we are truckers and have to film experience expect our own. We are also team drivers and drive in average 5,500-6,500 miles a week. I made this video at the end of my 11 hours driving. The max burton is the one that about caught the outlet on fired. So we don't recommend it. The lunch box style was by far the best.

I have had a max Burton slow cooker for 12 years using it off grid in Australia. One of the best things I ever bought. I cut the plug off 12 years ago and put an Anderson plug on it. I cook with it weekly. Cigarette lighter plugs are useless! Don't use them. I also have the roadpro oven. I pulled it apart. Swapped the bottom tray with one element to the top and added two new PTC 150w 150c element to the old top tray. You just silicone them on. It will now cook a frozen pie in 20-25 minutes. Comes out crispy and too hot to eat right away. The roadpro is rubbish without the modifications. Once modified, fantastic! Each product has a different purpose so you can't compare an oven with a slow cooker.

Since making this video the 12v plug melted!!!! We don't recommend ever leaving them unattended. It's absolutely possible it could burn your truck down. I do believe products are more road durable in Australia. I've researched a few products, especially a portable hot water heater. Glad to hear you have found ways to cook on the road. It definitely makes life better. Many blessings

Cool. I'm gonna have to get that Sabbott. Those cords can be dangerous. Melting is a big deal, but with so much stuff made in China I don't think they worry about that stuff very much. I still don't know what I'm supposed to rise and kill on Scott's shirt. Lol. Thanks guys.

Agree about not caring the quality of products. Its sad that America's outsource having their products manufactured in countries like China. Scott's shirt is a reference to the bible verse Acts 10:13

So what works better with the Sabotheat? A metal or glass container? You mentions food buurning if all metal. What would you cover the containter with? There any glass lids, so no plastic chemical leech into your food.

I think the glass would work better. Also agree the ones with the lid that snaps on would work well.

@@sashly99 I have both. I also had the Burton. That one sucked. My observation between the 2 units. SH does not get as hot and takes longer to cook. The time limit stinks. I would prefer a longer time or a always on feature when using lower temperatures. The RP has a higher temperature rating meaning quicker cook times and you can "bake" with it. If it had a thermostat and timer it would be my choice all day. This couple should have actually did a review rather a discussion session and reread other people's reviews.

Thank you for the support and kindness Slashly. You are exactly right about it being our opinion. After all, it's our channel. I can't speak highly of a product that did permanent damage to an electrical outlet in the truck that most like would have started a fire if it was not being closes watched. We are husband and wife truckers trying to do our part to improve the industry while helping other drivers along the way. Its sad the Cameran can't see that.

@@SimpleLivin you don't help your viewers when it's not a fair opinion. When its biased or wrong we can't tell if this be design for profit or you just didn't recognize it. Slashy it's sad to see that Simple Livin can't see an opportunity to take some minor criticism and try to make adjustments to help improve thier viewers. Next time i will use softer language "bias" as it is a trigger word. It was only a small criticism.

We can respect your opinion and thoughts without having to agree. We review both products in fact there are more videos on our channel on all the products including recipes with food we made. We don't make videos to make money. We do it to help others. If this wasn't helpful for you that's OK, we can't win with everyone. We have never claimed to be experts in videography, vlogging, or product reviews. Are experience is in trucking. And we have resumes to back that.
