I saw Hafthor losing the first place at WSM too many times because experience related errors, because he was facing Big Z and Shaw who were at the time a lot more experienced than him. strongman is not just about muscles Magnuson used to imply that back in the day.

Well you have to think. He has not even hit his prime when it comes to strength. When you’re 30 years old you are literally in your prime for strength and conditioning. So he knows by the time he’s 30 he will be at his strongest. And that is scary to think knowing how strong he is right now LOL and after that you just keep getting stronger until about 35 years old when you’re 35 you usually stay at what you are at Unless you take steroids of course

Don't feel too bad about it. The elite guys have a genetic headstart before even picking up a weight. Of course they work their asses off too but it would mean nothing without the genetics to go with it. I read Eddie Hall did a 180kg bench the first day he went to a gym.

I'm not saying that training with a professional crew is overrated, but when you train alone, you can push yourself to the limit without any hype. So the day you perform in front of a crowd that supports you, their encouragement serves as extra motivation or some sort of adrenaline booster. That's not science or anything; it's just my deduction. I workout alone, by the way, and it feels good to have only yourself and your mind in the middle of the weights lying around the gym.

his Physique looks better than most on world's strongest man. it was great to watch him, im sure he will be the best one day.

It’s so true. In the past two years they have gotten so popular because everyone is doing KZread channels now and they have millions of followers and now all those followers want to watch them compete. If I’m being honest I just started following it two years ago when I started following Brian shot on KZread. Then I became a fan of strongman sports and a fan of everyone of them I know I always want to see them compete. I just wish they would do live televised event it’s stupid they don’t

I love how, through social media, there's all these different characters in strongman. We have The Dad, The Mountain, The Goofy Guy and The Humble Farmboy. I goddamn love them all and hope for the best strongman event we've ever seen.

He's literally Rocky Balboa!!, The way he trains in a shed in the snow im the middle of nowhere.. And with basic equipment while his opponents gets the best food, gyms, and therapists..

He’s like a big teddy bear. I love this guy.

What a sound, down to earth and non-egotistical lad he comes across as... IMO; he'll win this years or next years Arnold Classic and will be podium, if not winner of WSM... He's flying currently! Bring his deadlift up a touch more and he'll be very, very hard to beat. Massive static power with the ability to move with weights too...

The real deal from Poland. Unbelieveable strength at only 25. He had great authority to follow as Mariusz Pudzianowski but I think and hope he gonna surpass him at some point and in some competitions. Fun fact Im from Poland but living on Iceland so Im cheering up for Mateusz and Hapfthor Julius Bjornsson (The Mountain) even tho I dont lift weights a lot!

If Kieliszkowski wins either the arnolds or the wsm im gonna learn polish just to ,one day, be able to tell him what a huge motivation he is.
