Just dont expect RM to repeat himself. RM is rebelling against people trying to control him. He did not mind speaking at The United Nations 3 times those were his words and his message, but when his government thought they could make him into a diplomat an establishment mouth piece hes pissed. But RMs album is untrammelled genius. Love it.

RM the man that you are!! 🔥 his whole album is amazing!!

As RM said in a recent video of his content, he said that Groin is about the pressure of being bts leader, as the leader he is always the person speaking up for the group, as bts grew bigger they were put in a position of representing kpop, their country and etc, he even mentions in the song "not a fucking diplomat", because he just want to be a normal guy doing his music, he doesn't want to be in those type of positions and political stuff.

This album is really giving vibrations of “I'm doing what I want” and I'm totally in favor of it. Kim Namjoon is taking everything inside him and building such a unique genre. I like how it has become increasingly honest over the years. Although they are required to act in a certain way to feed the illusions of others, only the really brave can refuse. They can withstand hatred and move on and still be themselves. To show the world your light and your dark side. I love it to him. Honesty matches him. Keep your universe expanding RM!😂💜👏

I'm not a monk could refer to the time he went to visit a monk and talked about the pressures around him and his up coming military serve. Next thing he knows his conversation with the Monk has been reported to the press and he made twitter post about it saying 'didn't expect to see our conversation in the news never mind I'll go to another temple next time.' So that might be a reference to that or it could be a reference to the fact he's a normal person and he's not perfect monk.

He is talking about all those people who try to ride off his and bts's success for their personal gain, their government, the monk who leaked his private conversation, stalkers, journalists , other people in the industry who try to use their name etc

Very likely also the people who used their name as “example” as they tried to get the government give K-pop idols military exemptions (waive the required military service altogether) as it does for accomplished classical musicians and athletes who win Olympic gold medals. It generated heated political debate for many years even when BTS was not involved in seeking exemptions and had already said they would serve and had even planned on the timing. The government settled on granting idols a 2yr extension to the maximum enlistment age but set a national award only BTS has been granted as the requirement, which made most fandoms angry, and then kept dangling the possibility of granting the full exemption keeping the issue unresolved. RM mentioned he’d hear people discussing it while unaware he was sitting nearby. The whole thing weighed on him personally and as BTS leader. (Check out Agust D - What Do You Think? He directly calls them out: “Woo, woo [we’ll] go to the military on our own when the time comes so Hope that the bastards who tried to place a spoon while selling out our name, all shut up”) They are all serving at the moment, Jin is about to be released in less than two weeks, so all THOSE opportunists and nasty agitators can go take a hike and figure out how to shirk their duty some other way. Preferably using their own name(s) this time.

It's not really personal per se. He's talking about SK media, official and other hangers on who want to benefit from their coattails. You heard of people having a whole city on their back. Well they, and him especially, got a whole country on theirs. He's sick of it.
