Went there many times, and for my final time on the afternoon of last day of school, June 1966. Enjoyed every minute of it each and everytime. Thanks for the memories.

One of the best amusement parks ever. The Bobs, The Greyhound, The Comet, I'm sure I'm missing one but the many times I rode them I'll never forget. The Tunnel of Love, the Fun House, and the ride that would go in circles and the floor would drop and you stuck to the walls. Those were the best days of my young childhood. Riverview, I'll always love you.

Such memories! I was ten (10) year's old in 1967 and I'd been to Riverview a lot of times and loved it and found a safety is rare to find, 'outside of its gates 100%,' anyway! I find parcel safety in most of the amusement, theme parks within the amusement parks nationwide. I wish the young folks could actually know how if feels back then up to today. They've felt the difference for sure. Memories is all I got and thank God for them!

Great job! Riverview was great and it was so sad to see it close. The only ride that ever scared me in my entire life were their Pair-O-Chutes!!!

@@waynewright2886 It really scared me the first time because the safety belt didn't fasten you in at all! After that I was fine and loved it.

I rode the chutes once in the 50's. Sitting on a narrow board, up and up. Stopped at the top and seemed like forever before the seat left me behind. Finally the chute opened and floated down. Never did it again. Scarier than Vietnam in 66. Scarier than flying when the landing gear wouldn't lock down and we were in the crash position. But I survived all life's scary moments. I'm 78 now.

We went a few times in the 60s, just before it closed. I recall the Caterpillar, once on the Chute, once on the Rotor, a lot spent at Skee-Ball, but Aladdins Castle was totally my joint!

Last time I went to Riverview was with a with a friend of mine in 1963...From the time I was five years old Riverview was my favorite place to go...My father worked on the top of the Parachute jump before the second world war broke out...To say he was a bit of a daredevil , would be putting it mildly...the stories he could tell would curl your hair!
