These videos Devon puts out are truly amazing. He's the armwrestling hero imo the "Peoples Champion" the most devoted seen on video to the craft. When he's gone there will be armwrestlers and non going to watch these for knowledge. We joke and call him old or whatever but he was called superman for a time. You can really tell he loves this sport. Good stuff Devon. Glad to witness your great journey and legacy.

Devon I only recently stumbled across your channel and it has sent me down a wormhole of pro arm wrestling content. Mostly watching different matches and seeing different content creators. But I've noticed it's pretty hard to find reliable and recently created content aimed at people who have literally no idea what the technical basics of the sport are. I would love to see a few more videos like this where you explain the basics of technical arm wrestling as if you're talking to someone who literally didn't know arm wrestling was a sport. I'd love to know more about the movement and all that stuff. Keep up the great work!

Devon, how much work do you do on your legs? Leg workouts can stimulate the release of large amounts of hormones. Working your legs helps to produce hormones such as cortisol, testosterone, and human growth hormone (HGH). If you go hard on your legs, your upper body strength will also increase!

In my opinion the pronation lift is just as important as the rise. In the strap I don’t feel like the rise is as important as it is outside the strap. In the strap the ability to drag with cup/pronation is way stronger then posting. A lot of people I bet can get near you on rise but I bet not many can even get in the ballpark of that 150 pronation with a flat wrist.

What are your thoughts on moves that initiate with wrist dumping force to apply bottom two finger pressure?

Been watching you a few years... You're sooo interesting and attract the attention arm wrestling needs.. Almost Travis did! Except you add education to it. Thats good! Is it Raining there now? Omg it has not rained in central Louisiana in a MONTH! Walking on the grass sounds like stepping on corn flakes.. bad

Hello Mr laratt, i hope this comment finds you. I really wanted to know how to maximize the leverages of a long arm in a toproll setup. The thing is in my case, since i have a long hand, i have to forcefully go back of the pad to accommodate the smaller arm of my opponent in the center. It ends up with my opponent having the superior post or superior height inspite of my hand being the longer one. Due to this my leverage is turned against me and i can't toproll my opponent but instead, end up getting toprolled myself. Since you are also an arm wrestler with long leverages, can you please educate me on how to place my arm on the pad, right from elbow placement to the setup. I really think it a waste of time if i end up giving the post to my opponent just because he has a shorter hand and the ref wants to accomodate us in the center. Thank you very much for your time Mr larratt. Have a lovely day ahead.
