Nice to see Aiden so enthusiastic for it. Not many people get to do what they love with their dad, him being one of the best in the world also. It can be a great experience, there is no better mentor than a good father. Usually it is so that the kids rebel and want to go to the other direction, and everything the parent does is lame.

It's so good to introduce something new into your workout routine. After weeks of something steady - which is beneficial - keep your body guessing a bit. Introducing a new weight, a new range of motion, or a new pattern can result in explosive gains. Then return to the routine for maintenance and bloodflow. Those 1xRM singles after a workload could provide much needed high-end in the late stages of a big match when both guys are otherwise gassed. Devon could end up the strongest he's ever been when he grips up with Genadi.

I've been working out with my boys, so this was inspiring to watch. I can't wait until they start strategizing workouts with me too! I think the max lift at the end is a bit much because as a match wears on, your apponent is going to weaken significantly, so perhaps lessen the last max lift to "win" the match? Anyways, this looks like it would be a good workout to do on a day that, for some reason or other, you had to miss a table session.💪

The shock of a different routine with different intensity is the KEY to triggering gains in strength and growth...do this once a day for one week.and do your singles throughout the day as normal.then 3 weeks of your normal routine but add weight to your singles..after 3 weeks do another week of this but add to your working weight..and so on for about 3 months then change your working routine again and alternate between the 2 routines about every 3-4 months...also please add some hammer curls or different curl exercises with some triceps work. Push downs/kick backs/whatever you like just build bi's & tri's..2 days a week of chest, shoulders and back would help you both tremendously...you need power & weight via quality muscle....your arm wrestling specific strength is great but raw power will negate it...your power base is now fragile and your son hasn't built & established his yet so do it together...let's go..a touch more raw power with the specific strength you have you're easy #1 in the world...don't look back 10 years from now and say "if only I'd have built 10-15lbs of quality mass maybe I could have"..do it now with your son while you can..you have the time and the opportunity...

I hope we will see a professional competition from you, that is, professional, not amateur, because really, in professional competitions, his work is very good, he is very stubborn and shows his resistance, kudos to the legend.

I used to do a lot of deadlifts (too much volume, hindered my progress I think - less is more) and it created a lot of back pain for me. I fixed it by hanging from a pull up bar every day - 4 sets of 30 seconds every day for months. Nowadays I do not have any back pain whatsoever.
