He's not always the best, but he's in the top two.

I came across Devon at a bar in Ottawa. My friend and I both tried pulling him with 100% of our effort, and it felt like he wasn't even giving 10% of his potential. I've never felt that type of power in a human being before, it was absolutely unreal. I'm entirely certain that Devon could withstand 2-3 average guys pulling him at once with all their might, and not having an issue. He's a big guy, but he's twice as strong as he should be for a guy his size. Amazing.

of course he is, he's one of the best in the world at what he does, not only is that what he does for a living, he is one of the best at it. It's like saying hey we played Lebron James in basketball, he's like 2-3x better than normal guys! Or we raced Bolt in the 100m, and he's very fast lol.

Have you seen the video he did with the gronkowskis? He took on all 5 of them at once. They pinned him but he was redlining holding them off. And this is considering they're world class athletes every one of them. Either they're in the NFL or MLB. So strong guys

@@ericks1081 vegan gains, most lifters, almost all nutrition channels. Juji is showing the fun side of lifting (the PRs, the people you meet, the progress you make) so in general his channel is more about the fun part of fitness. I feel like so many people make fitness this overly complicated thing also, while juji literally just lifts heavy stuff and eats good and gains muscle.

@@atlassadsad7422 My thoughts exactly. I know too many people who live off of social media likes, inspiration quotes and the "I work harder than everyone" mindset to the point of obsession. Is it 'fun', enjoyable or even healthy at that point? Not to me. Juji and Tom at their core are about health and fitness but utilize challenges, explore new equipment/sports (rock climbing, arm wrestling etc) and seem to have a good time regardless of what they are doing. That approach is inspiring - have a healthy lifestyle but enjoy the process and journey to get there.

The editing/meshing of all of the grunt sounds at the beginning was brilliant. More like these please...cheers!

In a perfect world Devon, Martins and Magnus in a video together. A man can dream.

I actually watch his channel often and had no idea he's that funny. His videos seem to be serious.

man, I remember watching this video when it first released, I was just getting into armwrestling. It's insane how Dev still had some of that boyish charm from his early days even in 2019. Fast forward 3 years later.. he's so plump, bigger head, bigger cheek bones etc. Completely different human being.

Haha, so many of Devon's quips seemed to go over their heads. Canadian humour is very much like British, Irish, Australian and New Zealand humour. Loved his comment about single muscle bodybuilding contests being won by public school boys (a wanking/masturbation reference haha!)

The muscle you are seeing around the 11:30 mark is the pronator teres. This muscle is is connected to the medial epicondyle of the humerus coronoid process of the ulna and inserts on the later surface of the radius. The muscle crosses over the ulna and wraps around the radius. This is what makes it so powerful for the pronation of the wrist.
