I rather wish Sunak would make this speech in relation for the Tories responsibility of the growing the poverty over the UK since 2005! It was their fault! Exactly! Nobody needs or wants their words. We need them to ACT. But as always, there's no accountability. And too much telling and not enough SHOWING of actual progress and moral principles. If the people in power shut up and did their actual job serving the country instead of serving themselves, horrific shit like this would never happen in the first place. Instead, the awful things our government is responsible for happen so much that people aren't even surprised anymore.

Not just the 80s. The dangers of factor concentrates had been raised since their inception. In 1974, American scientist Judith Graham Pool, who previously discovered the frozen blood product cryoprecipitate, a safer treatment, described the products as "dangerous" and "unethical", and warned against their use. The World Health Organization also warned the UK not to import blood from countries with a high prevalence of hepatitis, such as the United States.

Fuck the story, we’ve known this was a grotesque coverup for ages and that those products were well known to be lethal: what is going to be DONE about it, now that this pointless box-ticking exercise has been completed? My question to Mr Sunak is; Will the ministers responsible for this scandal who have landed themselves seats in the Lords be stripped of their peerages and charged with criminal negligence? No. The British public know no one will be held to account. That’s not how the system of privilege works is it Mr Sunak! The guilty will probably keep their heads down for a time, while their mates in high places cover for them and then they’ll resurface when they think the coast is clear. Until the cycle of public school - Oxbridge - politics - peerage is ended we will never see fairness in our society.

Easy to apologize since it wasn't you who was involved. How about an apology from those directly involved? An example must be made.

How is this different to any other day for this government. Child poverty, schools, nhs, water, housing, homelessness, care, Foster system, prisons, the incredibly slow prosecution of rape cases, housing and the list goes on.

So, we can add this blood scandal to the Hillsborough disaster, the Grenfell Towers tragedy, the Post Office scandal, Partygate and the disgrace of increasing child poverty to illustrate the UKs establishments utter contempt for the "little" people of the UK. A prime example of this are these hollow words from Rishi Sunak who himself was a part of the Partygate scandal and as Prime Minister is directly responsible for the increase in child poverty. Here we have another, yes, another example of why the UKs establishment needs root and branch reform to protect the UK population and make it publicly accountable for its misdeeds and corruption.

I've never seen such hypocritical play acting with as much heart as a stone. These people are the people you'd hound degrade and persecute under your own ideals and assumptions. It's a sad world that you have helped make as politicians that aren't for the people.
