I started renting in 2022 at £875pcm and now in 2024 my rent was only upped to £900pcm (where the average in the area is more like £1200). Am very grateful that the rent increase was manageable.

Better question is how do you know for sure "hamas" did the "attack" and not israel like israel and usa did 8/11 as pretext to invade the middle east? We already know hamas is deeply infiltrated and connected to israel intellegence.

To the person asking why would a responsible adult take a child across the sea in a dangerous boat? A desperate one. And one that has seen more danger than anyone should in their lifetime.

This man there are no words to describe him, years ago he would be looked at as a l will let you finish the rest and had gone to jail. He laid off all the British seaman in Dover but Funny how he kept on all British Officers wonder if he treats them the same as the rest of the crew l doubt it.

Strategically good move for Labour. Most people don't know who she is, nor Dan Poulter, all they see is two Tories defecting to Labour criticising the Tories' record on the NHS and asylum seekers. Money can't buy that sort of publicity. Neither are standing again so Labour doesn't owe them a seat. I wonder who's going to be next week, and what they'll slag Sunak for.

WHY ARE THE LABOUR PARTY SO AHEAD IN THE POLLS WHEN THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS UNDER THE LABOUR BLAIR GOVERNMENT ? According to a former government adviser, the Labour party deliberately opened Britain’s borders to mass immigration with the aim of creating a “truly multicultural” country. Andrew Neather, who worked as a speechwriter for Tony Blair, Jack Straw, and David Blunkett, revealed that the significant increase in migrants over the last decade was partly motivated by a desire to radically change the country and promote diversity. The policy was intended to “rub the Right’s nose in diversity” and make the UK more cosmopolitan1. Neather also mentioned that ministers were initially hesitant to discuss this publicly due to concerns about alienating their “core working class vote.” While the economic benefits and labor market needs were emphasized in the public argument for immigration, the underlying political purpose was to foster multiculturalism. Some 2.3 million migrants have been added to the UK population since then, according to estimates. Despite the controversy, Neather defended the policy, stating that mass immigration has enriched Britain and made London a more attractive and diverse place.

Nothing of which the British falsely accused Jomo Kenyatta was as heinous as what Trump has actually committed yet he was held unsuitable to run Kenya but M. Farage considers the endorsement of Trump to be acceptable,[Trump, rapist, swindler, traitor and corrupt ] it reveals his standards Nothing rivals the slander of the rght wing Press of said of Julius Nyrere rivals the actual performance f MAGA yet they consider MAGA to be civilised. When Kenneth Kaunda lost the election in Zambia he behaved with greater integrity than Donald Trump. The same is true of Willie Brandt in Germany What then are we to make of the modern standards of the British Press that considers Neil Kinnock and Keir Starmer less fit to govern Britain then Trump as president of the USA? I will tell you the British Media and the electorate are trash now, they were then, they are now. Hypocrites, swindlers and liars The people that back Farage are despicable, ignorant and stupid, and not fit for independence The most generous obituary of Franklyn Rooseveltd was written by Stalin and appeared in Pravda What are to make of the hysteria of the British and America Publics today? that back a Trump and a Farage and demonise Marxists, our alies against Hitler? ., On the evidence not fit for independence. Putin is trash but Trump and Farage think the world of him they talk k endlessly about Orban and denigrate Biden The British Press hae neither standards nor integrity and since Murdoch they have lower journalistic standards than Pravda or Ivestia and certaiinl practice propaganda against democracy. Er to be acceptable, it reveal s his standards Nothing rivals the slander of the rght wing Press of said of Julius Nyrere rivals the actual performance f MAGA yet they consider MAGA to be civilised. Clever bit of casuistry by finkelstein - saying that 95% of Israeli's support the 'genocide'. False. 95% of Israeli's support the retaliation against an Iran - Hezbullah - Hamas axis that explicitly calls for the destruction of Israel and has been waging an active war against Israel since Oct 7. Disagree? You'd have to argue that the above axis doesn't want to destroy Israel and that it is not actively firing rockets into Israel as we speak. If that doesn't merit a powerful military resoponse, I don't know what does. I guess the Finkelstein's just want us to roll over and die, so that the righteous muslim fanatics can take over the one free and pluralistic society in the Middle east...

I don't know what the problem is. She is not going to stand as a Labour member at the election so her political life span is as far as the next general election, unless of course she joins Reform UK (Good riddance if she does) and is given a seat to fight by them. And Starmer is just using her to wind up the Conservative backbenchers who thought she was one of them spewing out all the Brexit and immigration claptrap. And Starmer is without saying too much showing everyone that a hard right winger thinks that our immigration problems would be better solved by a Labour government, so I just don't see why a lot of labour MP's and members are getting wound up over it.
