Best mix I’ve heard in a long time, brings back memories of going out in the early 80’s having fun dancing, drinking, eating, just pure fun without the violence of today, thanks for this, much respect 👍

Can't remember how many tapes I had recorded back in the day. WBMX and WGCI Master mixes. Weekday Lunch Time Mixes. Alway's had to have a cassette in the deck ready to record. Ran out of tapes? No problem, Put a piece of scotch tape over the edge of a Rock and Roll tape and we were good to go ! Back in 1994 or so I went to Best Buy to buy a computer. Back then they were about $2400, and you had Dial up Internet, a 166 Mhz Processor, and a 4 gig Hard drive. That was high tech back then. Got it home, hooked it up and messed with it. I had it for 3 days and packed it up and took it back. Not much on the internet back then, it was fairly new. Told the guy at Best Buy "I don't need this thing, I really don't need it for anything". He told me ..... "Take it home and go on this thing called "Napster". You can download music from there. I said "Ok, I will check it out". Brought it home downloaded Napster and started finding all this great music I thought was gone forever. We never knew the names of these songs from the mixes back in the day. Somehow it led to me finding these track names, and I spent day and night and every spare minute downloading these songs. After all these years I'm still finding songs from mixes on KZread and downloading them. I have tons of these songs from the mixes now but mainly I'm still finding "Italo Disco" and other "Imports" from back in the day. A lot of the "Rare Stuff". I still live on the SS of Chicago. Back in the 80's I worked midnights on the North Side. When I got past say 55th Street on the Xpway I would pick up WKKC. They had a station from Kennedy King Colledge. At night just like BMX and GCI they played Mixes. Some of the best Mixes I ever Heard ! All Imports and Italo Disco Mixes. This is still my music I will listen to forever. Nothing and nobody can ever come close to these days ! Loved Sundays listening to WGCI. They played all the laid-back slower jams to relax to on a Sunday. Back around 2005 I had a Van that I put a system in that sounded like a good Old House Stereo. None of this "Boom Boom Boom" stuff like these kids have now. Everywhere I drove with the windows down people walking on the sidewalk would start Dancin and Movin. People that were born way after these days ! I was always asked "Where did you get that Music from, that's some Jams". Sorry for being so long, but these are my days, and they will never end....

Great mix....it could've been broken up into 3 mixes if he let the songs play longer. As soon as you get hyped over a track it blended right and that's very aggravating...Mix skills definitely on point.
