That's not true, we also have hip house today. The biggest difference is that modern hip house is focused more on a chill groove. Look up Channel Tres for an example.

Like many of you, I also owned this cassette. I know this mix forwards and backwards! This is one of those classic mixes that only gets better with time. The memories of so many of these tracks on this mix! WOW!!! What I’ve always loved is a “GREAT CHICAGO MIX”! Just like all the great foods Chicago has to offer, I believe we who were born and raised there, were spoiled rotten with great food and music. Hip House being one of those genres.
