That's just PTSD from watching some poor greenshirt's 'chute fail to open during a drop.

This would only help kids who had parents that cared about them. If I told my parents I couldn’t see, they would’ve just laughed or not believed me. They didn’t like taking us to the doctor. Instead they just beat me and emotionally abused me. If I missed the ball because I couldn’t see, my mother would’ve called me stupid and my father would’ve called me useless.

Wait wait wait. .okay so ripcord tell the kid to get his eyes checked then the kid dose and is right back at the game with ripcord so here's the thing in real life it takes a week or two for glasses to come in (I know I have glasses myself) not to mentions the kid probably had to wait to get an eye appointment.so like what? what was ripcrod just going to the kids game every week until he did get his glasses? So he go up and finish the lesson he was trying to teach the them?

Ripcord sure went through a lot of trouble just to do that. He probably needs something to keep him occupied.

Toei Animation was REALLY busy in 1985, churning out animation for many of Marvel's shows, in addition to their own animes. So you can't really blame Toei for turning out some lousy animation like this at times.

This one has startlingly bad animation! The kid looks 45
