I love how over the years you have fine tuned your reviews. I really love the review style and love watching every video no matter the car. It's always the perfect amount of information.
Cool to see you guys review cars ordinary people would purchase and daily although this seems to be a case of new but not necessarily better. Keep em coming!
Yuri, one of the biggest reasons you went with your Mazda was for its safety standards and accolades. For family vehicles like these, could you go over that too? If it was an important decision in the purchase of your car, i bet it's an important reason for many others. Great video again, I might get this for the wife. Will have to wait to see the hybrid.

@@AM-vy2pp For one it has a turbo. When I was at the plant they didn't have a turbo. And it's a lightweight SUV it will never have anything but a 4 cylinder engine. Love the new look! Amazing review as always guys, keep it up!
The "privacy" screen on other models is likely just a polarizing filter to improve clarity for the driver and reduce glare.
I love the intro, I never skip that part when you guys say your names!
I got one of the Sport Hybrids and love it. The handling is fantastic and so comfortable inside with the Hybrid's extra HP it is a nice responsive drive. Needless to say but mileage much better than my 2016 CRV I traded in, but that 2016 with the larger non-turbo engine was really responsive and fun to drive.
I don’t know how you guys did this… put now when I’m looking for car information, you’re my main channel.. keep up the great work
My partner ordered the new CRV so happy to hear that it’s as good as it looks from you guys! Thanks guys!
One thing I'd like to see added to the review is comments on the feel for the class. Maybe some open/closing of the doors to hear the sound? I dunno. I rode in a 5-6yr old Ran4 and I thought I was in a tin can. It was loud inside, and honestly felt really cheap. I've owned a lot of Honda's in the past and outside of the Honda Fit they all felt like they were more high end for the money. I know this is somewhat subjective but just throwing out ideas, even if they're not good ones :). Alex on Autos has the decibel/ interior noise commentary which is good and partially covering what I'm after.
@makb5354

Funny, I felt like that when I test drove Subaru Forester 4 years ago. Then they said they improved the noise issue, so I test drove the next year model and to my ear there was no difference. It felt like closing doors in Trabant ( old German car that felt like it was made out of cardboard). I just purchased Honda Passport '21 and I am glad that door feels great. It's funny how we have a strong feelings about different things in a car.
I would consider the top Touring trim of it had ventilated front seats, a 360° camera system, a panoramic sunroof, & multicolor ambient lighting accents
Love Jakub's impression of VTEC, and agree with Yuri and wired phone apps, I just prefer hard lines in general with anything.
My choice would be the Mazda also, however I would go CX-50, despite the torsion beam rear suspension. It just looks so good.
I was about to say volvo before you mentioned it lol. I used to have 2015 honda crv ex. I bought it new with optional remote start and more when they just drop it off at their lot. I love it. My mom use it now. It sucks that they take off the blind spot camera. It is so useful and safer than the blind spot monitor..
Awesome review...I just find most reviewers drive so many vehicles and so much performance and luxury vehicles that they forget reality for most people. Even though I own expensive and high performance vehicles, I still see each vehicle for what it is example I don't expect my Ridgeline to drive like my tundra, or my Civic to my Accord 2.0T. Good examples of good reviews include motorweek, Raitis ride, Savagegees, etc.. because they know how to review vehicles for what they are.

@@TheStraightPipes thanks for your review and response, but always remember while we compare some things we still understand Mr Honda philosophy vs other companies, Honda makes Jets, robotics, vehicles, technology, best engine manufacturer in F1 racing second year now with RedBull Racing, etc but still supply for economical vehicles as Mr Honda philosophy is. So, many comparisons are not even apples to apples...more like apples to orange to peaches to tomatoes...so it's best to give facts then some opinions...not a negative criticism of your show, just wish to see more focused on vehicles and what they offer...a Mazda should be a Mazda and a Honda a Honda, right? I wish Honda still offered their tried and true 4 cylinder NA engine like Mazda does. That’s the reason we went with a Mazda CX-5. I didn’t want the expense of the long term issues with a turbo.

This feels like a car that needs a more exciting color on the outside as it's very sterile-looking in white. I'm getting major Tiguan vibes from the side profile, but at least the rear visibility will actually be usable.
Love your channel. When are you guys reviewing the 2023-24 CR-V Hybrid?
I have a 2019 RAV4 Limited Gas version. Yeah, its interior tends to be more plastic. However, it comes with tons of features such as ventilated front seats (my wife loves this), heated rear seats, half digital dash, 360 camera, advance AWD system (similar to Honda's i-VTM4), DIGITAL REARVIEW MIRROR (Loves this especially the cargo is loaded up after shopping at Costco). I know ... I know they may break in the future, but I am pretty enjoying it for now. The MSRP may still lower than 2023 CRV EX-L (2022 RAV4 Limited cost 2K less but cost similar to XSE Hybrid with Tech package). Fortunately, mine doesn't have any leak problem on the roof or any oil dilution issue🤣🤣 The Touring Hybrid spec comes out already in Honda website. The combined fuel economy may not go over 40MPG. If so, very disappointed.

Trading in my 2019 Rav4 for a CRV Hybrid Sport Touring. The Honda is better on so many levels and i have had so many problems with my Rav4. Time to part ways :)

Looks great but I'd probably pass as the tiny little turbo engine and CVT may not be good bet for longevity over 150-200K? I went with the RAV4 Trail for the regular 2.5L engine and 8 speed automatic as a relatively uncomplicated duo. (Yes apparently low speed stumbling issues with the 8 speed AT in earlier versions but apparently software reboot helps smooth everything out).
Is there a lumbar support control for the front seats?

Great review as always, but I really hate where Honda is going these days. They've been moving away from affordable & reliable and started to chase entry level luxury? Gradually increasing their prices over the years & now they just look like they're emulating VW: plain, boring & uninspired (safe). Love or hate the last gen styling, but at least it was different & showed that they were trying. I expected more from the company that brought us v-tech, crx, the del sol, nsx, s2000, 90's era civics... Car companies really have to stop with that dash-mounted display & gloss black plastic. The new interior grill-vent looks cold & industrial, not very comfortable. How are you supposed to clean that thing anyways?

Not as long as they keep that oil dilution plagued 2017-2022 1.5 Turbo engine. I had a 2019 CRV with oil dilution and I got rid of it last month while the going was good. Think I will buy another Honda? Think again.
Review this car again in the Winter. I had a last gen CR-V and when the weather went below 0 °F (-17 °C) the car's tiny 1.5L engine couldn't produce enough heat to heat the car. the temp gauge wouldn't go over the C mark and if it did get warm the gauge went back down to C when you started driving. Talked to the dealership several times and they said there has been a few complaints but according to Honda there is nothing they can do. I think there actually is a Class action or a large complain group in Canada with the same complains as me.
Hopefully this will push Toyota to actually treat the RAV4 like a best seller. I went and test drove a 2022 RAV4 and it was so cheap feeling on the inside. For nearly $40k USD I was blown away at how much wind and road noise made it into the cabin. I have been a Toyota loyalist for 15 years now. But since I am looking to get out of my 2015 RAV4 into something hybrid I will likely be looking at a CR-V next year after they have a chance to work all the bugs out.
