The calls on red, is because of the constant headbutting, or leading with the head - the ukranian is a dirty fighter ..

That was absolutely amazing!!! Thank you Wrestling and Olhmpics. You motivate me to train harder and harder every day!!!

I dont know if im the only wrestlet here, but Greco is by far the best style. The whole match i was like, bear hug, arm spin/throw, chest wrap, crotch lift!

@@AlBatal2012 Поставили в партер дофигища раз, хотя русский показывал пассив много раз. Дали 4 балов за 2-х бальный бросок русскому. Также дали бал русскому за выталкивание из ковра хотя жан там не вышел. И также опять дали бал за выталкивание из ковра хотя там был срыв.

Это не россия и украина,а два грузина против беленюка. Позорили олимпиаду.

@3rdAyeSmokin It may have been because he wasn't doing anything.. He just sat there , and just defended . This sport it weirder with the rules , but what I can tell you is that he just defended. Not atacked . Does that make any sense to you , buddy ?

Greco Roman wrestlers clash heads a lot and get hit in the head a lot so I assume with so many hits the skull gets thicker and stronger.. idk just a theory. Also thicker skin idk

I am a fan of all these types of sports but I always question the point system. Is there any player worthy of a point on a roll? What constitutes a point when visually it looks as if its a stalemate? So hard to judge and officiate.

If you can roll your opponent onto his back that scores points, actually if you can keep the roll going, you can win by technical superiority. And yes, I know i wrote a reply to a 3 year old comment.

im a wrestler myself, so i understand the kind of training these guys go through as wrestlers... i understand on some level, that to compete on such level, their training must be at least be triple as mine... how on earth these guys, get tired and lose their breathe in a six minute match is beyond me!

Six minutes mostly of brute strength opposing one another. Literally trying your hardest to pick up and slam an opponent (constantly wrestling against the pull) again and again. Greco-Roman is one where strength matters(unlike jiu-jitsu) Plus it's only upper body based. This is what I would think. I may be off track

@@honestexpression6393 It's not brute strength. And BJJ also relies on strength every physical activity does. Technique is an effective way to apply strength not a replacement of it. Without enough strength (e.g.when fighting against someone 2x stronger than you) your technique will fail and you will lose. This also has a lot of technique you just don't see it because you don't practice the sport.

Да брат. Судья был грузином, да и Чакветадзе по национальности. Так и своему земляку поддерживал. Если что-то понимаешь в борьбе, то поймешь, что засудили брат.

Dear gentlemen: the referee was a bit partial with the Russian wrestler, however the Russian was better. The UKRANIAN had grabbed the Russian leg, obstructing him to score..... And at the end the Russia executed a wanderfull supple.... Scoring 3 points!!!!!

i was so confused at the beginning.. i was like theres a mistake... thats not Ukraine and Russia, there's a black guy there..
