Paul, John and George were only ~5’10" each, Ringo 5’7. The Beatles were kinda short compared to what we normally think of for the ideal height in a man, namely 6’0+. Though many rock stars were far shorter (makes you wonder about inferiority complexes driving some of them to succeed) But P/J/G looked absolutely perfect on stage and in every interview. Love them all!

Paul: "You're tall." :) He's always reminded me of a little kid. Especially his cute baby face.

"Oh, I also get a free pen and free pieces of paper." He is so witty :)

Angie is my grandma. She told me the story of what happened. She said Bruce Marrow called her 3 years ago about the 50th anniversary.

I've read about this incident but I didn't know it was filmed and made into a big hoopla. Those girls were extremely lucky to meet Ringo and acted quite mature around their idol. Thanks for sharing this rare video.

Cousin Brucie and Scottso! Folks, these are NY City radio legends. Bruce Morrow was an institution of Top 40 AM radio. I think he's still on Sirius XM. Scott Muni went on to be the 'professor' of the greatest FM rock station ever, WNEW-FM. John was fan of the station and guest in later years. Muni's wife gave birth on the same day in the same hospital as Yoko was giving birth to Sean. His story about seeing how happy John was that day is a treasured memory

If you've ever seen the movie Dirty Dancing and really who hasn't, the DJ you hear on the car radio as they are driving to the resort is none other than Cousin Brucie Morrow. He also makes an appearence as the magician later in the film. 77 WABC radio has long ditched their top 40 "MusicRadio" they are all talk since 1982.

He is not jewish they were all catholic as most Liverpool people are as roots from ireland.maybe the others were not practising but Paul was def baptised catholic too
