Ringo was always the beatle with such high spirit and always smiling. and i think his drum work was very underrated, he was always consistent with technical drum beats

Yellow Roses howdy from Dallas Texas, I don't think it would be possible to be as cool as old Ringo. I do have orange pants like in Magical Mystery Tour however I do not have lime green shoes or boots wish I did. I have Ringoes autograph that I bought on eBay back in 99. Out of 200 autographs that I have gotten here in Dallas, Ringo's is my favorite autograph and he is my all-time favorite drummer. Long Live Ringo Starr

Revolutionary Views There is an interesting vid here ..I can't remember what it was called and I can't even remember if it was all in one piece or in segments ...but it was really good because Ringo went back home to Liverpool and takes us on a tour and reminisces ; he had his grown son with him ... it was just really wonderful the way he tells stories ... and you are right is very down-to-earth and has a way with making you see through his eyes.

@@gardensofthegods That's what John planned to do with Sean, take him to Luverpool and show him the sights. It was to be in spring or summer of '81. Bummer. Glad Ringo got to do it with, I'm assuming, Zack or Jason, or both. It don't come easy.
52 years since Sullivan, and he's STILL Fab! And he takes a good photograph.

The lyrics of "Photograph" over the photos of all The Beatles, especially John and George, really pulled at my heart. 💔
Ringo Starr is legit my favorite human being.

What a thoughtful comment - Ha ha ha ha ha more like a barf bag comment - yeah, yeah, yeah
He was the Beat in the Beatles. And he's a Starr. Can it get any cooler than that?
what you hear from from ringo about the beatles (or anything for that matter) is always the most genuine and innocent opinion. he has such a good heart.
Kinda ironic how "Rolling Stone" is interviewing a Beatle

THANK YOU RINGO!
The Beatles have made me happy my entire life, from the moment i first heard them.
What a life he has led...
That part where he mentioned Harry and how he felt after his passing. It must take a toll on you, losing so many loved ones. It hurts less with time, but at least he still remembers them dearly, with peace & love ✌
Wow, what a great shot at 5:41
He's been my good friend for about 56 years now!

I was only 14 when the Beatles came to America, but I remember their impact vividly. . .And as the years go by, I've become more and more impressed with Ringo. He always seems to give thoughtful answers when interviewed, and has a great perspective on the whole "Beatles" experience. . .I'm a photographer and was, sadly, unaware of his work. . .I'm now very impressed with what I've seen in this video, and want to see more of his images. . .He would be such an interesting guy to get to know. . .

The coolest Beatle!
I had heard of Ringo Starr before I'd heard of the Beatles..........How could anyone not be famous with a name like Ringo Starr?
Love the sound of his drums. The most influential rock 'n'roll drummer of all time!!! Listen to The Beatles on the BBC playing,"Oh My Soul" by Little Richard from 1963. Listen to Ringo on that song...great drumming!!!
Actually crying. Will be buying that photobook asap. Thank you Ringo for these wonderful photos!!!
GOAT ... God Bless Ringo Starr
Cannot say enough about Ringo, love his stories, music, interviews! I've been a huge fan since 1964, still feel the same way about them today! ☮️💟
Ringo sporting a Buck Owens shirt. He knows what's good.

I would love to see ALL of his photography in a vid here... more Beatles photos and girlfriends and the wives... and the early days in Liverpool..and more of the days when they were in India... just more of everything... I think it would be really great !
God bless Ringo, he’ll be 80 July 7. It’s because of the Beatles that I play guitar; and thanks again mom in heaven for buying me an electric guitar in the late 60s, when it was frowned upon for girls.
This nearly made me cry at the end

Photography came easy to you Ringo just like playing the drums.. God bless u for the joy u have bestowed on this world.. GO RAIDH MAITH AGAT A CHAIRDE!
Ringo definitely wasn’t ugly but he looked real good in his younger years before the beatles and before the beatles hairstyle
Art is all.
Just the BEST (and no...sorry, I don't mean you Pete). Ringo brings such a fresh new perspective to what life was like for the Beatles. Every interview I've heard with the others are just re-hashed (sorry Marijuana, I don't mean you) Q&A. I know this man is very private...but it would be great to hear more stories like this.
...and a fairy godmother was passing by when she saw through the window a small boy lying on his hospital bed looking sad and dejected He seemed to be in pain. "Whatever....." said the fairy, Let's see what this is all about". The wee boy confessed to her that life had been tough: illnesses, not much schooling and lots of pain."I'm really sad". Because fairies know everything she decided to let him in on a secret. " Don't worry, you'll be fine. You will become very wealthy, be one of the most famous people in the world and one of the best drummers of all time . Oh, and people will also call you Sir Richard Starkey." "Yeah, right," said the boy as the fairy flew away with a quiet little smile dancing on her face.
Amazing Ringo!
One of the best honest interviews ever. Ringo is such an emotional sincere guy.
This is a great documentary. Very touching sentiment at the end. God bless you, Ringo 😎

2:01 November 1965. 'Hey Paul.' 'Yes, Ringo?' 'Look at that photo of George I took last year.' 'Submarine Race Watchers. You remember the colour of the t-shirt, Ringo?' 'Yellow, I think.' 'Hold my beer.'
That goes for me too!
