The FKB-456 shown in the video is an Ikarus 280.17 type built in 1988. It worked for Hajdú Volán in Debrecen until 2015, when it was moved to Borsod county, first to Encs, where it got its current yellow colour scheme instead of the old Hajdú Volán blue-grey livery. In September 2018 it was moved to Kazincbarcika by ÉMKK, where it remained until it was taken out of service in June 2021, when its rear end was damaged in an accident and it was no longer used due to the arrival of MAN buses. It rotted in the grass in Kazincbarcika for a long time, and was taken away for demolition when the depot in Kazincbarcika was closed down. So today this beauty no longer exists.
Until the spring of 2021 I rode it a lot, it became one of my favourite Ikarus, the white interior, the door bell and the beautiful engine sound fascinated me. During this period it was mostly on the duty of KXH-604, which was replaced by the FKB more than it was running. However, that duty also ran on weekends, so it was often a perfect weekend programme. I really miss the Ikarus buses in Miskolc...
