The HW130 tram in the video is an SGP E1, while the HB530 trailer is a Lohner C3 type. The former was built in 1967, the latter in 1961. Both entered service in Vienna the year they were built and remained in service until 2006, when they were transferred to Krakow, Poland. The city's public transport company, MPK Kraków, carried out a major refurbishment. Among other things, they received a completely new interior, digital displays and double headlights. Both are still in service in the city today.
We went on a school trip to Kraków from 9-11 December 2022. On the evening of the first day, after dinner, there was a free time from about 7 pm, if I remember correctly, and we had to be back by half past 1 am. While the others went out to the city's nightclubs, I bought a 48-hour ticket and went for a tram ride :)
Our hotel was located in the outskirts of the city, with a bus service every half hour for public transport. It was a line that took you to 2 tram lines, which then took you to the city centre.
It was snowing as soon as we arrived, and by the time I left in the evening it had turned into a real blizzard, but of course that didn't put me off. I got off the bus and took the first tram to the nearest major intersection. After a few shots there, I saw a coupled Konstal tram, so I quickly got on it. Now this must have been some garage procession, there was no passenger information on the tram. So I got off at the next major intersection.
It was a large square with trams running around it, and in the middle of it there were Christmas decorations. I filmed here for a while, then when I was completely frozen, I took an SGP E1 to the city centre. This video shows this journey. After that I was moving around downtown, making videos there.
I timed my return to the hotel to catch the last bus, I was very lucky that there was an SGP coming out of town. I used it to get out of town and find my bus stop. There was no one around, standing there was a bit scary. But then my bus arrived in time to take me back to the hotel.

The next day was similar, only there when I arrived at the nearest intersection with my bus, it turned out that there was an accident and all tram traffic in the area was stopped. But that will be in that video, subscribe so you won't miss it :)
