I was removed from a sex ed seminar (6th grade) because they tried to tell us you could get aids by just touching someone with it. I was pissed. My cousin has had aids for a very long time and I knew how wrong that was. I threw a fit and once my parents found out why, they did the same. The next year they updated their curriculum apparently to promote facts. But I have to state that these videos were unhinged. The animation was wild. It was like watching Street Sharks teaching sexually transmitted diseases. It was not Jawsome. My uncle is still alive and doing well. He was one of the few who was given the, as he calls it, “magic cocktail” when they were testing out various medications. He’s happy, has a fab husband, owns an art gallery, and still lives in his home state of South Dakota. Surprisingly the town he lives in all the residents are so very understanding and not judgmental. This is jawsome. Sorry this was random but it reminded me of the stupid safety videos and seminars they made us watch. Also this happened in the early 90s at a US public school. Also, anytime my bestie smokes weed, he’s gotta shit. So there’s that. 🎉JAWSOME🎉

I also have an family member with AIDS and he's probably the healthiest person in our family, and looks like a body builder. It honestly amazes me. He's incredibly strong mentally. He went through some horrible times in the 80's, doctors denying him care, or outright being disgusted with him. What an awful feeling. The one time I went to get an HIV test because I was scared, the Indian man at the counter LOUDLY explained what it was to everyone around us. When I asked him if that was necessary to mention to everyone, he gave me this look that said "You disgust me, and I don't care"... This was last year in 2022. People are fking weird and cruel.

There was a safety place like that near me that everyone went to the summer before first grade, and they gave you a little diploma at the end of the week. 9:56, things like that have actually happened before, except for the home depot employees. in a mcdonald’s some teenagers put super glue onto a toilet seat and a little girl got stuck to it. she ended up in the hospital after most of the skin on her butt got ripped off and having chemical burns from the glue

So after rewatching this video for the umpteenth time, I got curious about some of these weirdly specific ones, like the 87 nails or the home depot toilet, and they are actually news stories. The nails one happened in China, the bees one was in Los Angeles, and the woman in the Home Depot clip actually looks kinda like the real woman who ended up suing Home Depot. I'm starting to think all of these are based on real stories...

Yeah and someone mentioned how that’s how family guy writes there jokes. How one joke said first in the scene will come back and than gives us room the breath and not think about it and then the episode ends with the same joke. Honestly it’s very creative but I wish family guy had better writing.

Fyi: Former Home Depot employee here and the ass glued to a crapper situation actually happened. A "prankster" got clear industrial adhesive from the aisle and a different customer then went in some time later and got stuck. The poor bastard was older so I think he just wasnt strong enough to get up before the glue set. Fire and ambulance came and had to shut off water system, unbolt the toilet with him attached, then trot him thru the store and into ambulance.
