I like to use 80/90 differential automotive gear oil to lube the threads, it sticks to the metal and doesn’t run so easily plus it’s a high shear oil that does a superior job in my opinion… keep on rocking
In 40 years of being a pipe fitter/welder I never saw a brand new "screwing machine" as we used to call em,,,,
Honestly, who doesn't use the machine to tighten and break loose a fitting?

What is the number of turns of thread for each die size (when checking the thread without using ring gauges)? I'm interested in size of: 3/4" = number of turns? 1" = number of turns? 1-1/4" = number of turns? 1-1/2" = number of turns?

guesswho kk I'm honestly brand new been using this machine two days but my foreman and fellow coworker's have explained that for 1 1/4 that if you hand tighten a 90 on it should be 3 to 3 1/2 turns until it comes off again I'm brand-new just hop it helps ya

pi refers to a rotation of 180 degrees..
