it looks like rigid has a monopoly in the piping equipment industry, my school uses all rigid power equipments down to the pipe wrenches

SO he is usingan adapter for large diameter on a mashine that actualy doesnt cut threading in this diameters?
Can this be used when the pipe is stationary and can't be rotated. I believe that is what I'm seeing when you are doing it by hand.
