Unfortunately fittings with running threads are not allowed on the job site but it is still an acceptable way to check your threads. Please be careful with rings and watches when threading pipe

What is the recommended number of turns of thread for each die size (when checking the thread without using ring gauges)? I'm interested in size of: 3/4" = number of turns? 1" = number of turns? 1-1/4" = number of turns? 1-1/2" = number of turns?
