A lot of people would have been satisfied with the Canucks just making the playoffs this year, I like it that Allvin is not at all satisfied with that. GCG!

Hopefully with some playoff experience now the defence can break out of their own end without treating the puck as a hand grenade. Puck possession into the opposing team’s end is paramount for the forwards. Without a good breakout it’s hard to even start to maintain possession. Dump and chase with no forecheck is really just another turnover. It’s a positive direction no doubt, but a long way to go yet.

They badly miscalculated Petey's injury, he was an absolute non factor in the playoffs. They need to learn their lesson next time and make sure he's absolutely 100 percent for the playoffs, regular season personal points totals don't really mean much

Tendonopathies dont get better with more rest. If it was knee tendonitis they prob made the right play.

Its so weird with him. Hes got speed and hockey sense and can play the PK well, but his one crutch is his damn hands. You'd think that's a fairly easy problem to solve with the likes of the Sedin twins and hell, even people like Petey in the lockeroom. If he can just get better at finishing and stick handling, he would be one hell of a tool to have. Idk I say keep the hopes high with him and wish for the best

He was using him as an example of how they can find a highly talented player that is under valued and elevate him. Wasn't saying he wasn't going to sign him

Something doesn’t sound right about the knee injury. Tocchet kind of shrugs it off as tendanitis, peteys body language and attitude has been HORRIBLE for 5 months, which leads me to believe there might be a coach/player issue. If that’s the case, i’d trade him sooner than later. There’s no way they don’t sit him out early on to heal him if it was that bad. And petterson has been kind of a brat since coming into the league.
