@null akjg Okay, but it sounds like his issues were deeper-seated than that, and it was not just her who caused it. His problem was that no matter what he did, he fucked up and people mocked him, but like- *It was his fault.* No one made him go to Rick's house to mess with him, no one made him say something really gross about a teenage girl, and no one made him fight Jerry and get his ass handed to him. He did that all by himself, even at the end he didn't really accept that he'd said something wrong ("it came out wrong" when he was clearly meaning it to sound exactly like it did, he just won't admit it) and he blamed Jerry for the incident despite being given numerous chances to take it back or leave and didn't even have the good sense to be able to back up his big mouth. Piss Master was completely at fault and while him getting trashed by his own daughter was rough, you have to think that this is probably after years of this shit. Even your loved ones get sick of your shit after a while with no change in behavior and they're allowed to be frustrated. It's also not like she didn't understand that she made a mistake in being so public about it, either, so I don't know where you come off with her not learning a lesson. It's tragic that her dad killed himself and she might have contributed to that decision, but blaming her for a perfectly reasonable reaction is unfair.

Rick even lies and says it has nothing to do with her when his whole problem was that everyone was cheering for him to fail. And that hurts much more coming from someone you care about. She'll never know what she did and will likely do it again.

They hated him because he got caught being a piece of shit. It's his own fault, and his daughter is justified in being angry at him. Blaming others for his own mental instability is just more of him shifting blame when we have no indication that he ever tried to do anything that would invoke anything BUT happiness at his failure.

this seems to be obvious about social media trolls or the fickleness of social media in general, "once they realize they can get you to react they never stop", "attacking me (Rick) is like some type of badge of honor to them", one minute they love you the next they hate you. The word 'cookies' in the uk only refer to the chocolate chip cookies, everything else like digestives, jammy dodgers, bourbon, etc are all biscuits. Biscuits ingredients consist of coarse brown wheat flour, sugar, malt extract, vegetable oil, wholemeal, raising agents and other stuff, not the baked bread stuff like what that word is used for in America.

It was a good bit. good bit. Also, what would control of website cookies entail? Does he have the ability to telepathically read them? Can he create or delete them at will? Because if he could interpret them, he could possibly have tons of knowledge. If he could create or delete them, he basically has control over the entirety of the internet because he could crash systems by overloading them with data or he could delete cookies and make systems harder to use.

It's a weird topic for me as a Bahamian American. In Nassau, we use--or at least my family uses--both terms too but like a mix of UK and US patterns. Sometimes using the words interchangeably for the same thing, it seems. But I personally mostly use "cookie."

The episode was really strong, I like Rick changes and develops from episode to episode

The death of Jason David Frank was heartbreaking but this episode was written long in advanced he had a good relationship with his children and second wife. It honesty came as a shock since he was helping kids who were suicidal.

I'm from the UK. In the UK a cookie is a chocolate chip cookie. If you've ever played Cookie Clicker, that's what a cookie is to us.

Here in the UK we have "Cookies" and "Biscuits". Things like chocolate chip, raisin, anything with nuts in is more or less a "cookie". Biscuits are similar yet different. What you would call "Ginger cookies" depending where in the UK we are from, we say "Ginger biscuit". There's a brand called "McVitie's" and they're generally called biscuits.

Mitchell and Webb had a brilliant skit about a telekinetic individual who could only control cookies. I bet the creators of this show have drawn inspiration from that.

cookies in UK are just a type of biscuit. generally a flat round boy with choc chips, raisins (boo), oats etc in them. Biscuits refer to all flour based baked flat treats... i think... im not a biscuit expert but i do like eating them

I love how parallel cookie magneto is to actual Magneto, both control a specific item that carries something which is almost in everything like cookie ingredients or an magnetic field. He tried to control the daughter reaction, and that is Rick problem, the need for control. If you can do anything then everything will feel like is your fault. Usually people that have control issues suffer for the lack of control, Rick shows that even if they did had the power to control things, this wouldn't make them happy.

I live in Marietta and there's like a Chipotle like 2 mi away from me, and I'm pretty sure it's still Marietta. I don't know Georgia zoning is so weird. I used to live in kennesaw, the Publix next to me was technically kennesaw, but the Quick Trip right across the street was Marietta. But if you were ask anyone where the quick is located, we'd all say it's Kennesaw regardless of whether or not the address is listed as marietta.
