I think he only sees them as toxic because it makes it a weakness to which anybody can get to him by. And it's easier to deal with threats when you don't have to worry about protecting someone, see how easily he's left his previous Beths and Summers but never Morty. Never Morty.

deph xd Nah, Harmon is really good improvising stuff and pitching ideas. They have a great writing staff.

No Morty didn't at all want to be his old self. He knew Rick was coming and accepted it becuase he was healthy, but he kept the phone on to gloat at Jessica.

morty really seems calm and calculate like evil morty when he got no toxins so maybe a confident morty would be such a problem that ricks have to make im unconfident so he doesnt become an evil genius

The song at the end is an actual song justin roiland made. Check it out. "Terryfolds"

I like how when Jessica's friend was talking about getting pissed on, everyone said "ewww" except for Aaron who was like "Hmm..."

Yeah, I think he also transferred his mind into the insta-clone. I mean, with the whole alternate reality mindfuck the one anchor is that it's still our Rick & Morty going through it. They wouldn't just toss that in the trash. Edit: That's right I just realized mind-transfer technology shows up all the time in this series. Tiny Rick, Rickshank Redemption, etc.

I recommend either Bojack Horseman or Gravity Falls after you're done with Rick and Morty since you only have a few episodes left. Those two are some of the best recent animated series along with Rick and Morty.

So with the rapid growth part - it is actually a call back from season 1. If you remember when they run through the galactic check point they run past an alien that can do that. So Rick has obviously taken that to grow to a certain point.

Normal narcissist Rick’s default caring mode is dysfunctional most of the time with glimmers of hope... In theory, now knowing what drives their toxic selves, both Rick & Morty can consciously get above it (if they think about it) and find a balance

Yeah, Patreon probably charges at the beginning of the month or the end of the previous month so people can't just get the benefits then cancel their pledge right before the payment period.
