It's sad that this country is like this towards people of ethnic cultures and minority backgrounds we say that we're inclusive and accepted of everyone this country was built on the backs of racism I feel sad that people have to endure this kind of racism our president has the ability to end all of this but it's never ended this is wrong and every way they tell us to vote and take interest in our politicians but nothing is ever done about this money and power is all it takes to be corrupt and disrupt order this is wrong and not to mention I'm also saying that this is very unprofessional the man who says that he has very much money and high priority is a problem the man that's poor and doesn't have nobody and very sick and needs medical attention doesn't get very much medical attention this country is going to be crumbling soon and every corrupting that is in it will fall.

As someone who worked in a nurse team in a psychiatry (even if it was a VERY short period of my life) I was taken aback when the doctor said: "you are just a nurse". Nurses spend more time with the patients than doctors ever will. Nurses have all the rights to question your every move even though you are in a position to give orders to them. Doctors not listening to their nurses is negligent at best and life threatening at worst.

That is true. My mother was a nurse. And she used to look after my great aunt (her auntie) She didn’t need a doctor telling her what to do.

I loved the time the nurses went on strike (a few decades back). While they were out, the death rate went up. After that the doctors decided they would strike. The death rate went down while the doctors were not at work. Says something about the ability of doctors to listen, I think.

Great story. We need a Part 2. That receptionist needs to be fired, so rude! Dr John hasn't learned from past experiences.

I know this is just a video but things like this happens in the real world people can be so rude thank you for sharing this video.

That doctor was horrible what he did was nothing short of malpractice and he's not even sorry if I was that nurse I would say test that patient or I'll report you to the medical board

Need to have part 2 of this story, I've heard many real life stories from my sister who is by the way a Nurse Practitioner as well as from my daughter in law who is a Registered nurse, and they both say that they spend more time with a patient than the Drs., themselves, of course at first I didn't believe it and told them why, they both told me to consider myself lucky when I told them that my doctor spends a good 30 to 40 minutes with me. So please bring on part 2 ASAP.

I'm a nurse. It would be usual a nurse would do that. However if they are giving special treatment to a patient, itcould happen this way.

If there's one thing I can't stand more than anything in the world is racism that patient and the receptionist are making me sick and cringe at the same time, those humans just like us, I don't have any problems with people from different races, religions or countries if I see a racist the police in my country UAE will deal with them, because the law stated that if anyone commits any acts of discrimination of any form by any means of expression or by any other means, the punishment will be 5 to 10 years in prison and pay a hefty fine no less than AED 500,000 (($136,124.80)) and no more than AED 1000,000 (($272,249.30)) or one of these penalties

There are a lot of doctors that are just about the money. Not about the patients care. My dad had cancer, already spread an abdomen, and the doctor still opened him up. He only lasted one month alive. How would the racist man and the the doctors, not getting any other test done on the patients .

As a receptionist at a medical clinic she should have more patience and empathy towards everyone not just the rich

I wish my doctor was like this I don’t think anyone cares or will see this but I was in the hospital and I was having a bad headache so I told the doctor and she said I need to eat food and my headache got worse and I went into a seizure while choking on the food. My mom told that doctor to never come in my room again

I hate Monique, Simon and John for being rude, bullied and racist to nurse Jenkins and Gabe those three rude people should be fired for trying to get rid of nurse Jenkins and for not helping Gabe when he is sick and other patients. Eric has good heart to take care his high school friend Gabe!

People really don't talk this way. In real life, they'd be far more subtle.

I'd leaved in the city of "Brotherly love of Detroit Michigan" for 24 years and, life can be ruff and tuff there. Including working at Hospital's. Doctor's and medical staff can be very rude and not very professionals especially in ER. There's always a long line of credical patients.. the Hospital's get's pretty full at all times with patients. It's sad so sad. ( Not enough medical staff) This is supposed to be the land of the Free and the home of the brave.. The land of opportunities and of milk and honey Nope, not anymore..😭😭🥺👈 good luck America 🇺🇲❤️‍🩹.
