The NFL doesn’t want a three peat. As a Chiefs fan, this schedule is brutal. Not saying that because of the opponents but that 3 week stretch of games from week 15-17, is 10 days. Doesn’t seem like it’s good for player safety. Smh. Hopefully they can stay healthy

If they 3Peat, it will be the most legendary NFL team based on how they won all three… youngest defense to win a Super Bowl. toughest road playoff to win a SB last season, and toughest season schedule by date if they win this year.

Uhhh Brady having to go to Drew Brees house for the divisional round and then Aaron Rodgers house for the NFC championship as the #5 seed for the 2020 season was 100% a harder road than the Chiefs last year, and it's not really close. Brees and Rodgers are both legends with rings. Josh Allen and Lamar have no rings and are not legends yet.

Week 6 bye with SO many games after that, including a stretch of 3 games in 10 days in December. Brutal. Hope nobody gets injured this year.

I am not a Chiefs fan, but this schedule is some bull cookie.

Crazy the league has to do this crazy schedule to give other teams a remote chance of beating Mahomes.

Chiefs proved all they need to do is get into the playoffs. As underdogs last playoff season they proved they win when it matters, especially in the last game.

What gets me is the 12/21 game and 12/25 road game. Quick turnaround!

Plus they would match the 70s Steelers with four SB Victories in six years.

They went back to back after going on the road for the first time in the playoffs and crushed that adversity. Imagine they go back to back to back after facing the adversity of THIS DAMN SCHEDULE, wow. This has gotta be the toughest schedule next to how the Steelers schedule ENDS lol

So this year's NFL script: make winning games for KC as hard as possible with a ton of short weeks. Somebody gets injured and NO REPEAT.

This "tough" schedule for KC won't even matter. They'll easily win their division guaranteed a playoff spot already. They don't care about the 1 seed. The same thing will happen like last year, they will get in as the 2, 3, or 4 seed and still beat everyone for another champion. Regular season means nothing to KC.

Tell me the NFL doesn't want the Chiefs to 3peet without telling me the NFL doesn't want the Chiefs to 3peet.

Don't forget a week 6 buy week, so literally no chance to rest after the first quarter of the season

The Panthers’ and Chiefs’ 2024 schedules are opposites. The Panthers only play on Sundays with no night games. NFL clearly prioritizes money over player safety.

The Chiefs had to play the most objectively unfair December schedule in the last 35 years of NFL schedules LAST YEAR - scheduling FIVE OPPONENTS IN A ROW in the crucial month of December all coming off byes or extras days of rest/preparation to face the Chiefs - so now the league office has to try and beat that record of trying to screw the champs. This league desperately wants to avoid a threepeat by the chiefs.

I hope all of the Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday games end with less than 10 points on the scoreboard.

The Packers 65 championship was before the Superbowl, but the 66 and 67 seasons were the first 2 Superbowls. So the threepeat is within the Superbowl era

The only threat from the schedule is the early bye combined with three games in 10 days. The opponents are irrelevant.

Every year there’s a new challenge and if they win the Super Bowl this year it’ll be the hardest one yet.

Seems like a stacked deck to me.

The Chiefs are going to cruise to the #1 seed barring injuries. Their second half schedule is pretty favorable.

NFL: Player Safety! Also NFL: 3 games in 10 days, no extra bye weeks, no additions to 53 man roster, debating extending the schedule to include 1 more game in the future.

The chiefs are certainly one of the favorites to get to the Super Bowl but the odds are against them just as they are against ever other team. On top of that the afc is stacked. Good luck on that ace.

The schedule makers/Goodell are a bunch of mad scientists to come up with some of this stuff.

Even tho the Ravens are dealing with the same thing.... the Ravens have to play 3 games within a 10 day timespan. So it's not like the chiefs are the only dealing with that

Yes, but there's a big difference playing that grind off a Week 14 bye vs Week 6. Still ridiculous either way. NFL blows smoke every time they mention "player safety".

I'd sit all the starters on Christmas to keep them healthy, assuming a playoff spot has been clinched.

Weeks 15 16 and 17 they also play three games in 10 calendar days

Yes there was no Thursday or Xmas games in early 2000s but there was actual practices where players hit each other. A lot less defensive restrictions and on and on. As defending champs and back to back champs the chiefs have the 16th hardest schedule. 16th!!

Ordinarily wouldn’t love a week 6 bye, but honestly it’s perfect this year! We know how good Andy is off a bye. And you’re facing the team that’s quite likely to repeat as Super Bowl challengers, and oh btw WR1 & WR2 are new to the team.

That Week 16-17 four days gap is absurd

I remember that happened to the Rams. That was why the broke the 1999 Broncos record(mentioned in this video) for worst defending SB Championships.

They are ranked 15th when it comes to strength of schedule stop. They play in a soft division so they have a guaranteed spot no matter what

I find this stuff for the chiefs exhausting. Most teams have 3 games in 10 days. Only thing is 31 other teams dont have the refs on their side. (Had to slip it in 😅) It takes 2 teams to play a game the other team has to play at the same time? Poor chiefs have to play on the Tuesday.... yea so does the other team?

This still doesn't change the fact that there are 49million kangaroos in Australia and 3.5million people in Uruguay which means if the kangaroos were to invade Uruguay, each person will have to fight 14 kangaroos

Im confident in the chiefs can 3 peat and with this schedule nobody can make excuses saying they were helped by the NFL

The week-6 bye is the worst part by far but if you look at it, after their week-11 game vs the Bills, the Chiefs will be favored in every game the rest of the season. The Chiefs can string together a 7-game win streak &get hot right in time for the playoffs regardless of what happened the first ten weeks of the season. But week-17 and week-18 look like bye-weeks to me, which sets them up perfectly to be healthy going into the postseason. And if they did need to go on a late season run like the Bills last season the Chiefs schedule allows for that as well. I won't expect all the Chiefs to play on X-mas or fly to Denver

Bye week early in the season, a lot of short weeks between games... I see a lot of injuries in the Chief's future this season.

Hate the bye that soon. But not going to complain. We have had our byes awesome for a long time. No complaints.

I don’t like the 9 road games 3/8 home games at home in the first 5 weeks with a early by week is crazy. The by week should be week 10 before going to buffalo. This ain’t going to be easy.

Instead of the NFL trying to pack in so many games so many days of the week, maybe they should extend the season by a month, and give every team an extra bye. They could at least get rid of Saturday football that way.

The NFL Players Union Needs to get involved HERE. On the subject of Player Safety, the League should be spending Tens of Millions $$ per Year on Development of Improved Equipment & Environment. The Only thing I've seen are the ludicrous Michelen-Man Padded Practice Helmets. The BYE Week Needs to be at the Same time for all Teams & if 18 Games Seasons then 2 all-team byes.

Taylor swifts team has been working with the nfl to have Taylor play even a bigger role in this season.

At least all the off-week games other than Pittsburgh they get to play at home. Big difference. And they have weak opponents like the Raiders. Also the week before the Xmas game on Wednesday they play at home on a Saturday so it's like playing a Thursday game. Of course as the season goes injuries will rear it's ugly head and change the actual strength of schedule.
