Problem for older people getting NFL streamed on several different channels is not so much a technical problem as it is COST. Subscription services cost a lot. So we old people will just see highlights on traditional TV and hear about all the diverse channels on the evening news sports segment.

I was wondering how nobody else picked up on the fact Colin seemed to emphasize the Raiders being easy games multiple times and I wanted to yell at him saying they came second in the division last season w an intern coach and rookie qb. Chargers were last and got worse… like what?

Is anyone gonna talk about the fact that prime still doesn’t allow you to see what you’re fast forwarding? so for those of us who work and have families, you can’t see every game live, and sit and try to fast-forward through commercials is difficult to say the least

Here in Hawaii, the early Sunday games are 7 or 8 AM (depending on DST). Love it! DVR the games, watch later after playing golf early.

I know it’s a common thing for KZread thumbnails but there’s something funny about seeing Colin 😱 for the thumbnail.

I couldn’t find one person who said the schedule release wasn’t a big deal, and the NFL doesn’t give a shit about Harbaugh, they care about the LA market.

The Raiders disrespect is puzzling to me. Chargers @ home are actually raiders second home games too. Chargers got marketably worse apart from a tackle, whereas raiders got much better. No McDaniels alone is a huge upgrade.

Arizona has had plenty of losing seasons since their Super Bowl run over a decade ago. The Colts and Titans have been mostly bad since their peak. I'd rather be in the middle of the road than be horrible for over a decade.

I said the same thing about the Lions getting screwed with a week 5 bye. The saving grace is the 10 days off after Thanksgiving. And I believe we play 2 Thursdays in a row so the Thanksgiving day game they'll have a full week off before too.

I'm a tennis fan, so I pay for the Tennis Channel, Tennis Channel Plus, and Tennis TV. ESPN Plus has the rights for Wimbledon, US Open, and the Australian Open. Therefore, I pay essentially four different subscriptions to keep up with everything, but I don't feel ripped off because I love both the ATP and WTA tours.

Amazon also has the best feed. By far the best picture!!!

Why is the NFL releasing their schedule during the NBA and NHL playoffs? Thursday games? Do we need the NFL on Christmas? As sportstalk is more dependent on the NFL, I watched way less NFL the last two seasons

I use to never care when the NFL schedule came out, because the team I rooted for was always bad, so I just waited until the regular season begins. However, since the team I root for is actually good, like really good, I was anxiously awaiting this day to see the schedule. The team by the way I root for is the Detroit Lions, been a fan since 1990.

These two together is the best and most balanced duo as far as opinions/insight. Both are connected af and do a good job trying to keep it grounded. Colin feels like a friend man I’ve known him for so long lol NFL is getting better at the high profile stuff as far as entertainment and matchups. This will change quickly after new CBA the players will fight the quick turnaround shit. They’ll just have to keep pushing the salary cap up to allow teams to really afford what they need. Netflix Sunday would be badass as long as it’s not $80 a month. NFL won’t let subscriptions services undersell nfl redzone but I’d love a “pick your team and you get all those games that’s it. Or pay a division package like all the nfc East teams games for the day. Like a pay per game thing or pay by the half cuz maybe you don’t wanna watch your team after watching a bad. half(panthers fans) the more you can break down a demand into smaller increments to sell, the more opportunities with money u make. We’ve all said “why isn’t this a part of it? Why is it a separate purchase?” A time or two. I think patriots are going to be annoyingly decent. Not a shit show I think Bills heart wasn’t in it last year. Defense didn’t suck their qb did and o line did at least one of those can improve. Like .500 team when everyone thinks .250

The Cowboys and Lions played on Thanksgiving for years and no one cared how hard it was on the four teams. Why is it a big deal that all teams have to play on a Thursday, now?

Who loves Colin Cowherd more than Colin Cowherd? Nobody. He shouldn't do these guest spots with his employees if he can't resist the urge to compere with them for the best take i.e. rather than engaging with interest in their responses to his questions, he just ignores them and uses the question as a vehicle to promote his latest hot take, which -by the way- is generally utter nonsense designed to demonstrate how clever he is. These guys got Sunday football completely backwards. They been on the left coast too long. I remember when I first moved to Vegas. I never could get used to 10am kickoffs for all the important games. And if you enjoyed Saturday nights in Vegas the way I did in my younger years and we're slow out of the gate on Sunday mornings, your were watching a Chargers- Seahawks snoozer in the one o'clock window at my NFL game to watch. Or maybe a Saints@Rams cluncker. This was back in the 80s and 90s of course. Pre Sunday night era. But too me, the weekend was over. The early early ALWAYS has more games. Obviously more interest nationwide. And lets not forget, the east coast is FAR more populated than the left coast. Their opinion is theirs. Certainly not the majority. The late window only has a couple games plus one national. Not much there. Dude says he doesn't need to watch a falcons-Panthers game. Me neither. But I'll have many more options. College is even worse. By noon, most of the relevant college games like SEC and Big 10 games, were over. Might have alot to do with the passive interest in college football out there, as well as football in general. Monday night football was great tho. Kickoff and happy hour always blended well for me!!! 😀
